What To Do At A Nightclub/Rave : Othor Games

Hey folks!

So, I'm going to a nightclub next weekend. Only problem is, I've never been to one before. :shakehead:

Now, if this were the movies, and I was Ryan Gosling or Bradley Cooper, I'd know exactly what to do, but it's not, and I'm not either of them (though pretty damn close

) Anyway, a friend who is taking me says: "Follow my lead..." But knowing him, I don't like the way that sounds.. So I'll ask you guys instead!

The type of music they play at this particular club is stuff like Tiesto, Benassi, Guetta, etc.. I can dance to pop, hip hop, and RnB, but not to techno/house/trance/whatever this is. So basically, tell me everything there is to know about going to nightclubs/raves. Also, let's try and avoid discussing any of the more shady activities that take place, as per the forums rules.. :whistling:

I don't really like nightclubs that much, though I do like the music. Just get a couple of drinks from the bar and stand around. Get used to having shouted conversations.

Edit: to clarify, shouting over the music, not arguments or something

From what I've heard, when you're at a rave everybody's just doing ecstasy and dancing/drinking. At a nightclub I guess you just dance, drink, try to get lucky.

Drink. If your with mates, out drink them. If your alone, just keep drinking and you are guaranteed to pull or at least get in on some social action.

From my limited experience (what video games tell me), it appears that a nightclub is a locale with a two-fold purpose. First, it spices up the environment with bright lights and thumping dance music. Second, it is an interesting place to shoot, explode, or stab things in. However, I wouldn't recommend the second option... so I'd say just dance? Or "dance." No-one will notice if you are doing it wrong. Unless it involves the second option. Which I said you shouldn't do.

tips:
never let go of your drink, even in going to the head. either finish it, take it with or leave it in good company. A micky is easily slipped in.

Ugh, I hate nightclubs. I used to go quite often, as in two or three times a month. Normally I'd have had a substantial amount of alcohol beforehand, and upon arriving at the nightclub, would head straight to the bar for shots, then dance like a loon for a bit, then more shots, then some water, then dance... Repeat until I wake up the next morning, fully dressed, with a pounding headache and no memory of leaving the nightclub or getting home.

I went a couple of times while completely sober and I don't recommend it. Nightclubs are best tolerated through a haze of alcohol, otherwise you're just looking at a bunch of sweaty drunk people dancing badly, throwing up, fighting, shouting, etc. in a large room.

Go get a good misterious costume go in sit in the corner staring at a mug and look misterious. Now, you should get around 15 or so adventurers to go have an adventure with. Have fun adventuring.

Most raves/nightclubs have a chill out area aside from the dance area.. If you don't feel at ease getting your freak on on the dance floor, normal conversations are possible in the chill zone -this is also the designated area for chatting up the honey's :icecream:

Not the ones here... Unless you count the toilet, but that's usually just full of people getting sick.

The difference? Night clubs are full of drunk people Taverns are also full of drunk people. Thus they be the same thing.
