What's the best looking armor in your opinion?

Daedric because it gives my Nord an evil look.

Dwarven is also nice, as it makes him look like an automaton, only sixier.

Basic Steel Armor (not Plate). Funnily, It was my favorite in http://www.uesp.net/wiki/File:OB-item-female-Steel_Armor.jpg too.

I like the leather look myself...ohne helm.
Exactly like what my character looks like.

I leveled my blacksmithing (and alchemy and enchanting), just so I could upgrade my leather set to armor values to the cap. So that I don't regret wearing glass or dragonscale armor. Maybe getting such a high armor rating wasn't even necessary. (I try to make sure my enchants don't break the fun).

I use a "hide helmet" addon.

Most armors look way too bulky. Leather looks best. Maybe also because I've been a rogue for many many years. And leather just feels best. I also used 2 swords for that many years (and axes later. bleh, ugly axes). In Skyrim however using a 2nd sword it too painful. You can't use a keybind to equip it quickly. And at lower levels, I really needed a shield to survive. But now that I am over lvl50, and now that I have my "endgame" upgraded leather set, I started using dual-wield. I feel like the rogue I've always been !

Blades

Yeah... I lean towards the Blades as well. The steel armor variations are pretty cool in Skyrim as well... I wish the horned helmets were stronger!

I always prefered netch over chitin, myself.

Mithril is good, though. I was sad that they left it out of Skyrim.

Yes, that was a nice looking armor.

I'm with a lot of people here when I say I prefer the look of the Orcish Armour, on both males and females. Then Steel Plate then Ebony. However, being a bit of a fan of Light Armour I do like the look of Glass, which is what my good-wife Lydia is currently wearing.

My personal favorite is ebony armor. I love the helmet and the coloring of the whole thing. Second is daedric, but I kinda don't like the helm as much as ebony.

I HATE dragon armor... it looks terrible. imo

Ancient nord (male & female versions) is my favorite. Dragonplate is also good for a Nord (minus the helmet) - my long haired Nord warrior is in dragonplate.

Steel plate is also a very good looking all round armor. My Colovian knight Imperial is in Steelplate.

Daedric in my opinion is the worse looking armor. It looks too alien.

I'm not into some of the scaled armors that look like gimp costumes or some weird costume from a Mad Max film. Forsworn & ancient Nord are great on a female character for that semi-naked ranchy look.

I also like the City Guard armors. Its a shame they haven't got an armor like them that isn't a form of uniform

I very much like the look of Dwarven armor, but it comes in second compared to glass. Besides the helmet, glass just looks damn sixy.

I actually really like the look of dragon. I like how the back of the helm kind of looks like a spine.

Boiled netch leather!

But in Skyrim... I'd have to say TG masters outfit is awesome... I alternate between that and the Nightingale armor...

I also love the Dovahkiin outfit even though it's very impractical... And I wear a set of scaled armor (horned variant) with the ancient Nord helmet for my barbarian... looks sic as hell...

Blades Armor hands down, one of the most detailed ones.
Also Ebony mail combined with the rest of the ebony set.

With you there! Blades armor looks very well proportioned and the look is just sick imo. I'm using it now (enchanted and upgraded) for my battlemage character. The ebony helm goes really well with blades armor...and not really well for the armor it was meant for it seems lol.

2nd would have to be dwarven, then imperial heavy w/ the "centurion" helmet you find in Dibella's shrine. For light armor definitely elven

I haven't gotten to the level you have; nor have I been using enchanting or alchemy yet, but I will.
I use a shield. I like combat with a shield; It feels realistic; and I do need it. I'm not into being an uber destruction machine - I like combat to be tactical and require some skill. I think I see my character as a ranger with some magical skill.
Dont like the big heavy metal armors.

Stormcloak Officers Armour or Hide Armour. Wish the male version of the Ancient Nord Armour had real pants. I know most of them are kind of weak but they do look cool.

I prefer the Orcish armor, it feel's almost mongolic to me. it's interesting that the orcish armor always seems like it's based on asian designs. I also think that the Dwarven armor is pretty legit, and a huge step up from Morrowind.

Also, the standard iron helm is neat, it reminds me of a Franzetta painting.
