Ulysses competed with the Courier for the main character spot and lost. 4th wall - broken!

Ulysses is the courier from the future.
Sent back to prevent the courier from destroying the world.

During the human vs Cazador/Deathclaw war of 2350 all hope was presumed lost until a strange time travelling figure appeared as if from nowhere, he fought back the demon creatures.
He turned the tide and brought the human race back from the brink.
As a final act of pure chaotic destruction the demented arch-mage of the Deathclaws initation the final protocol.
What had been intended by mr House as a vessel to carry the humans to a new world far beyond the stars, would now be their ultimate destruction.
Setting the starships engines to critical overload the resulting explosion was so hot it ignited the atmosphere, annihilating all life on earth..

Ulysses must stop himself from fighting in the war, the fate of all life on earth depends on it!!

How would "unknowingly and inadvertedly getting one of his loved ones killed" conflict with good karma? You have no intent of killing the person and no idea that your actions will get that person killed. I'm talking about like....delivering a bomb to a guy without knowing it's a bomb, and then Ulysses ends up blaming you for it.

Makes a lot of sense considering: "People are like couriers, delivering messages but not always understanding what they hold."

No idea, but here's what I hope it's NOT:

1. A relative. Completely overdone.

2. The courier killed his wife/children/girlfriend. This would -not- fit for the backgrounds I have for most of my characters.

3. Something very specific that completely wrecks every backstory I've given my couriers in the past. Example: They are both from the same vault. That's too specific, and doesn't gel with the couriers I have. I'd be forced to completely ignore the entire DLC. I like that my courier was left a blank slate, and want him kept that way.
