Backstory: Fascinated by history and old technology, he took on a job as a courier because it allowed him to travel and learn about the history of various places and landmarks. After visiting a new area, he maps it and looks for old books, technology, and weaponry. He is especially fascinated by "old" boxing legends, (Meaning late 1900s), Roberto Duran, Mickey Ward, Vinnie Paz, Johnny Tapia, etc. He does moonlighting as a bouncer and boxer to earn spare cash to buy boxing memorabilia and other collectibles from Old Vegas. He has to wear glasses, which helps him deal with stage fright during fights. When the glasses go off, he can't see anything but his opponent and it keeps him focused.

He has to hide most of this from his mother, who ironically thinks the courier job is the respectable job and that the bouncing and boxing will get him killed. Little did she know. His Dad used to work for the NCR as a collection agent before they outsourced to powder gangs, anyone who got too far behind on protection payments would get repo'ed by him and his squad. Unfortunately, he developed schizophrenia in his mid-thirties, and now Mikhail has to make sure that he eats and doesn't starve to death because he's afraid to go outside. His mother is a former NCR officer, but she now runs a pawn shop outside the strip for people looking for quick cash before they hit the slots. Mikhail gives her money to look out for special collectibles he's interested in. She steers side jobs and odd quests to him, did she have a role in his delivery of the fateful package?

Assuming 42 points for distribution, unless gifted is a trait again.

My first character will be a wild west style outlaw. he'll use smaller guns and will be proficient at survival.

My second character will be like my first fallout 3 character, a science man who uses energy weapons.

A character I'm considering is a tribal who will use melee weapons and will also be proficient at survival.

I'm not sure about the name. Probably my usual in-game name, in other words "Tagan". Don't ask what that's supposed to be. A friend and I came up with it a few years ago, and it kinda stuck. Age? 35? Who knows? Everything from like 25 to 50 is a possibility.

Anyway, he's a sniper, and an assassin. He's a lone wolf who lives out in the Wasteland, and only chooses side after which one will provide him with the most targets.
Skills will probably be Small guns (if that is the one where the sniper rifle is categorised), Melee weapons and Survival.
He will, obviously, use a sniper rifle (Anti Material rifle *drools*), and some kind of melee weapon. I hope there will be some good knives or similar in this game.

And to those who were suspecting it, yes I've played too much as the Sniper in Team Fortress 2. He is exactly like me, except with a gun.

his name will be john as its the first name i thought off he will disguise himself by looking like a scavenger selling pots and pans but really he is a rock hard killer and he will have 100 skill points in small guns,repair and medicine so hes basically self sufficient and he will be a lady killer. with some power armor like the t51-b if i can find any

My guy will sorta go out on his own to protect people and will go with whatever he feels is morally right he will have long dark brown hair, he will have sorta a ninja suit if there is something like that(Please respond if there is one). His main weapon is the Katana and some small throwing weapons if not throwing spears and a pistol for back up.

i would make a super sneaky long range class. He will use light armor and a desert ghillie suit. I would sit in the desert waiting for bad guys with my silenced 100,000,000,000 cal iber sniper rifle. I would go to vegas and get thrown out of all the casinos for winning to much. I would buy all the supplies i need to survive and give the rest to all the poor people of new vegas. I will have EXTREMELY good karma. I will do anything i need to to help Mr.House. And at the end of my day, I will go into my 100,000,000,000,004 ft tower with my 100,000,000x zoom telescope and my readied solar powered WMD that shoots from the sky.

I'll essentially be free-warping my character. aka a vague TLW continuation character, built around Speech, Science, Lockpick, Repair, and Small Guns (I dont recall my Tag, but these are my skills I am at or near at 100)

At least one of my characters will be 23rd century Ernest Hemingway, complete with a penchant for shotguns, fisticuffs, and alcohol. Tagged skills will be Firearms, Unarmed, and Speech for effective intimidation/seduction of womenfolk.

Sort of a lawful neutral. Helps people in need, kind of sensitive especially compared to her (evil) twin Rogue Jones (my cousins character) although they look out for each other in our fiction.

Since she's a scientist and a doctor, she holds scientific and medical pursuits above most other things. This may cause her to make quick judgements like siding with technologically superior allies, however she does not make her judements based off of good or evil she will never fully side with evil people.

Normally wears glasses and a labcoat. Tends to use words and her high intelligence but if all else fails she can handle a pistol okay. I want to try and play through New Vegas using my brains instead of my brawn so to speak.

I'm working on a raider character, a smooth talking rogue character and a character I want to use specifically for hard core mode who starts off as kind of an everyman mechanic character who's good with a rifle and pistol.

I'm going to tag Barter, Repair, and Energy Weapons. I'm going to throw a good chunk of points into Guns too, but my guy is all about the Energy Weapons. He's going to be a very good guy that hates bugs and likes to melt evil people.

My character is definitely tagging Guns, Speech, and Repair. He'll be good man who won't stand by and watch people get pushed around or oppressed. (He hates Slavers with a passion, and will kill any Slavers on sight) Siding with the NCR eventually becoming a NCR Ranger patrolling the Wastes and being the protector of the weak and defenseless. (That being said he can make the tough decisions that aren't always the good or bad choice, Just what has to be done. Vigilante Justice.) :tops:

It's pretty simple, actually. That character I made? It's not a representation of me. It's the Action Figure / Dress-up Doll that I'm moving around on the chess board. Which I suppose means that I don't really "RP" any of my characters.


So, yeah - no problems making an opposite-six character. :shrug:



As for the original topic - My first character will probably be my usual: High strength (I'm a packrat), decent Int/Agi, and medium everything else. Small Guns, Sneak, Security. Oh, and female. :laugh:
