the expansion to be able to continue my character after completing the game. I hate how they always end their games with the main character dying -_- why can't we just be able to continue after the game is done instead of going back to a save file -_-

The only "they" who ever killed a player character to end the game was Bethesda- same folks who retconned one lame ending (You must die, no the loyal Super Mutant/Ghoul accompanying you can't go in and do it, are you crazy?) for another equally lame one. (Borked Steal...load DLC, suddenly your previously-dead character wakes up two weeks later.)

Fallout: Player character walks away at the end
Fallout 2: Player character walks away at the end
Fallout 3: Player character dies until retcon-resurrected by Borked Steal
Fallout: New Vegas: Player character walks away at the end

Nice straw man though...

No, it's not that simple. Just because something isn't nice, doesn't mean it's not true. The world is full of horrible truths that no one wants to hear about.

Yah but thats not the truth its just someones opinion...

The armors from the Pitt
Double barrel shotty from PL
Alien medigel, atomizer (I loved that little pistol)
The GOOD Chinese stealth suit that made you a god of sneaking
Shocksword from OA
Auto-axe from the pitt
Paulsons outfit from MZ
Cryo grenades
Trench Knife
Infiltrator
Hellfire armor
Fishing poles (They were a nice flavor item)
All in all, only thing I miss from F3 vanilla is the "patriotic" feel it had. I hated it, but now i miss it.

I miss the feeling from Operation Anchorage of the desperation; the US is being invaded and you have to fight to survive the nation. I miss The Pitt because of the atmosphere, it was very fallout-like. Very dark sky, smog, smoke, fire and all that good, bleak stuff. I miss Point Lookout because of the scenery and the exploration ability. I miss Broken Steel due to the weapons, level cap expansion, new enemies and most importantly, the expansion of the plot..and a very good plot

I miss that their was no DLC for 1 and 2 so we didn't have any "The last one was better" Threads.

Sadly, I still need to finish FO3: Point Lookout. But the main thing I miss is the DB Shotguns and the hundreds of Alien Blaster Ammo. :hubbahubba:

Personally I miss very little. MZ is about the only thing close, and thats just cuz it was so outrageously different from anything else. I really wish they'd bring the autoaxe from the pitt back though...that was epic! DM was better than the rest cuz it is possibly the ONLY true survival horror game/add on on any next gen system (at least in terms of US games, I'm sure theres some unreleased foreign game, I know there's been some pretty hardcoe japanese survival horror games on other systems) since RE went action and silent hill 5 (aka homecoming) was also slightly action inclined (plus the fact that it practically forced you to fight almost every enemy as opposed to the originals run or die style took away any survival aspects). Plus they managed to make it hard without making bullet sponges. Anyone else get stuck and scared (in an "oh [censored]! im gonna die" way, not literally scared) when in the tower surrounded with little supplies and low on health? And I was playing melee focused, I can't imagine how screwed I'd have been if I'd focused on guns! I still barely got out!
