Nothing, they ran like crap on the PS3. Well having to do Point Lookout so slowly and saving every 5 minutes took something out of the game, but it was still my favourite. I just didn't like the weapons having the extra damage only to me, but if I used it it was regular to everyone else.

So far nothing comparing DM to OA DM killed it.The DLC for FO3 was decent but had plenty of room for improvement and MZ was just awful outside of some rare loot.

 I swear, it's like watching the Flash reload, and I only went to 28. I got worried I was going to crash the game.

I don't miss anything about them. If I ever get nostalgic, I just fire up FO3 and go play them. OR are you really asking:

How come FO:NV dlc aren't as good as FO3?

If that's what you're really getting at, just let me know and I'll make sure to avoid this thread like the plague.

proberly just some of the gear from the DLC (namely the pitts items) namely given the more raider armour and speical power armour with the more stealthy mechcine gun, wasnt much of a fan of NV assult rifles but other then that NV and its DLC seems to be much of an improvement over FO3 and DLC for me.

still nothing makes it better then a personal adding it in

the expansion to be able to continue my character after completing the game. I hate how they always end their games with the main character dying -_- why can't we just be able to continue after the game is done instead of going back to a save file -_-

You do realize that there has only been one DLC.Both in FO3 and FNV the first DLC was fairly linear but at least DM had something interesting and different to it.

I don't know, I loved Op: Anch because, albeit a distorted view from a guy with PTSD, but still it gave us a glimpse into what happened in Anchorage. And it was nice not fighting some radioactive spiderpigs or something. It was a window into one of the last greatest clashes before the bombs. I'd love to get another glimpse into the past D:

You asking me or the OP? I kinda got a pretty good grip on the definition of the word "one". And my syntax don't really imply that I meant plural FO:NV dlcs. It could have been construed that way, but that's kinda a grey area, since dlc is it's own plural. If you meant the OP, then you may kindly ignore the preceding babbling about my grammar.

PS I'm assuming something in my grammar must have made you misunderstand what I was on about. See, if it's not, then I can only go with the only other obvious alternative.

Besides the gear not much I mean they were good but I prefer how all of new vegas's dlc's seem to have a theme that follows throughout and the stories have been amazingly good compared to 3 and thats a big part of any game to me is a well told tale.

It was they way you worded it, made it seem like you where jumping the gun on all future FNV DLC. No worries I get what you mean now.

The katana, the pre war setup in MZ was cool felt really 50's esque sci fi. I was very disappointed when I found out the great khans had no Katana's or swords. I also miss the Chinese assault rifle. Hopefully gram's story is not shoved down our pie hole in an hours worth of one off effects nothing game play. If it is lets hope we get some cool guns out of the deal at the very least.

If you just wanted to recall fond memories of playing FO3, you'd have posted this in the FO3 section.

I can only surmise from your tactical placement of this thread that you intend this to be a comparison of FO3 DLC to NV DLC. Or whatever permutation of game content vs game content.

I, for one, think that we don't need any more of this FO3 vs NV bull[censored].

It's kind of like comparing Hanzo swords: When you compare a Fallout game, you should be comparing it to every other game that ISN'T Fallout.

I think when Bethesda made Fallout 3 they did a better job of creating contrast between environments so that when you would go to a ruined area it would seem ruined. New Vegas uses a lot of the same themes over and over. There are a few places that stand out but the majority of the game is just desert. Fallout 3 did a good job of breaking it up the vaults were more unique and had simulators that would remove you entirely from what you were accustomed to.

I miss the differences in environment, I guess is what I'm trying to say.

Edit: There is mod on nexus that allows you to travel to D.C. and play Fallout 3, with your New Vegas character, so far the project has most of the main game working but the DLC for it is not set up yet.

The linearity, the bad to barely decent writing, the action focused dungeon crawlers, the generic characters, yup, lost of things to miss from FO3's DLC's...

Seriously though, there's nothing I miss from them, what I loved in The Pitt, Operation Anchorage and Point Lookout was the art design of the gameworld and culture.
How can I miss that?
Dead Money's art design was [censored] awesome, sure it becomes a bit same-y but it's still awesome.
And Honest Hearts look better than any of the DLC's art design yet.

So nope, there's nothing at all to miss from FO3's DLC's, FONV's will be superior.

The question was what do you miss not what do you hate then a little something you missed jeez louise you do this sort of thing quite alot .
Any way i missed a lot of the loot (css and a proper gauss rifle with knockdown effect ) side quests piki's safari was epicly fun and had good choices do i kill the bos or the enclave do i side with the slaves or the raiders or kill desmond or the brain (forget his name ) .And i too felt that OPA was a fun incite to the past .And GAB what dlc's u explaining there was only 2 liner dlc's and show me the "bad writing".

Nothing. Dead Money is already better than all the other FO3 DLCs, maybe even all the FO3 DLCs put together.
