What do YOU want for DLC?

Post » Tue Jun 05, 2012 1:13 am

I'd like to see a DLC where you help the Orcs establish an Orsinium in The Reach. Forsworn become someone elses problem, and the Orcs get their city...again.

I don't even want to hear about DLC until there's some serious bug fixing done.

And OP, this:
And you even kill the
Spoiler
is already in the game. It's the last mission of the Dark brotherhood questline.

I'd like the bards college to actually allow you to become a bard and all the content that comes with it. (Questline, being able to play instruments ect.) Was REALLY disappointed with that aspect of the game.

I think it would be even better if it's The Elder Scrolls VI: Dwemereth. Now when Morrowind is destroyed by eruption of Red Mountain it would be awesome to see Dwemer returning their ancient home and giving the province it's original name, Dwemereth.
It's Vvardenfell that is destroyed and its not completely obliterated either the landscape around there has changed. The water around there is now called the Scathing Bay and there is an open from the center of Red Mountain into the bay. It could very well be habitable. I would like a game one day to take place on mainland Morrowind.

I doubt the Dwemer would ever return, but I admit its an interesting concept.

Skyrim Factions:

-Join a Faction
-Climb the Ranks, with every new rank gives you access to new features
-Wage a Campaign against other factions and take part in large scale battles.
-Build your Guild Hall and Install fortifications and Buildings creating your own economy.
-Wear a Cloak with the Faction's Seal and colors displayed.

The goal is to have your faction fight for territory, gain influence and prosperity, and in the process eliminate the other factions. You can create alliances, or be a lone wolf.
That sounds like an entirely different game. Skyrim is an open-world adventure game ill-suited to city building.

I don't see their return happening but I also think they are interesting enough to talk about. To be honest I don't wish them to return, but I wish to see them in spinoff game which takes it's place in history when Dwemer still were there. But I think it's not happening either.

Personally, my dream dlc would be if Bethesda takes the northern lands (north of Windhelm and even Winterhold I guess) and awards them to the Dragonborn after defeating Alduin. It can be awarded by Ulfric if you sided with the Stormcloaks or Elisif if you sided with the Imperials or remained neutral. The purpose would be that you are tasked with building a fortress and small trade post or town. The requirements for building the fortress would be a combination of gold and quests. This way you have something to invest gold in and a reason to raid various dungeons to obtain it. The quests should focus around specific problems surrounding the construction site (i.e. introduce a large bandit force or pirates) and you take on the challenges. The town and fortress could also be upgradeable by spending more gold. The inhabitants could be taken by npcs that you have done favors for or introducing new ones. The fortress could take the best aspects of all the existing houses and combine it into one.

Ah. A man can dream.

Skyrim - The return of Mehrunes Dagon

The daedric lord mehrunes dagon has somehow regained his mighty power! He is back again and the forces of good must stop him before it's too late, or else all of humanity will be doomed! The hero of Tamriel must recover an ancient artifact of powerful power to banish Mehrunes Dagon back to where he belongs, once and for all. You must once again venture into dangerous and deadly oblivion gates, fight through hordes of ancient and powerful demons! Only one can stop him, rise up to the challenge!

DLC includes
-New area
-New monsters
-New items
-New quests
-New NPCs

-

I tried to make it more unique and original than most dlc's and expansion sets. I think the plot is nice and it has some unique features we haven't yet seen. What do you guys think?

What would you like to see in upcoming DLC?

For me, I hope to get a chance to kick some thalmor butt.

But I think they are setting the stage for some good long dlc.
Think of it, you're the first dragonborn in 200 years.
The empire is crumbling, falling to pieces.

And you even kill the
Spoiler
present Emperor of tamriel

I hope that you get to go tiber septim on everyones ass, and unite tamriel as one again.
With long adventures in morrowind, cyrodill, and summerset.

FUS RO DAH!!

LOL Long adventures in Morrowind, Cyrodiil and Summerset Isle? That's not a DLC, that's like TES VI!

But yea, a Thalmor butt kicking DLC, I'm all for it! :) I can't stand those arrogant bastards LOL

I very much agree they are one of the most interesting parts of The Elder Scrolls lore. I am glad they are in Skyrim with the Dwemer artifacts. I cannot get enough of hearing about them and collecting their relics. I wish that Oblivion did the Aylieds some justice with the depth and intrigue that Morrowind and Skyrim had for the Dwemer. But as it stands the Dwemer is the best ancient civilization alongside the Aldmer/Altmer and Chimer/Dunmer.

DLC? well im Xbox so I would be happy with :

Non Quest DLC (would have to be cheap, but would pay for it.....just dont take the *** - Horse armour im looking at you!)
- some extra weapon and armour
-The ability to dye your armour or change their colour would be great.
- Able to rearange and buy new individual items for your house
- able to quickly set items on tables, shelves, counters etc in your house
- More items
- spellmaking (would be a bit annoyed if had to pay for it.....although probably would)

Quest DLC:

- new guild quests (a bit like the point made earlier would be great)
- Thalmor bashing quests
- More deadric quests

This would be an amazing DLC or expansion. Taking part in massive sieges or wars and upgrading whole armies to fight with you along with bolstering your economy! It would definitely give players a reason to explore more.

A lost snow-elf civilization on an island with some sort of magical barrier disguising the island keeping them safe :) and if snow elves were playable that would be badass

Integrate spellmaking and make sure it's not as glitchy/exploitable as other Skyrim features. I'd pay for it.

kthx

  • Vampire guild, where you could upgrade/change some of the powers you get.
  • Hunters guild, where you would fight mythical beasts etc.
  • Illusion spells, some new manipulation spells. A spell that causes them to freeze on the spot, could be interesting, some other ways to manipulate your enemies.
  • Alteration spells, maybe move invisibility to alteration as it it's more plausible, introduce chameleon. Being able to fortify your skills through alteration (obviously they will balance out the crafting skills to stop exploitation), so you can cast a fortify 1h spell etc. Having more perks that help non-armor wearing mages to, maybe half stamina cost, and magicka regen benefits (to make it more worthwhile for mages). Also being able to use spells to give enemies weaknesses to elements, like potions can do.
  • Destruction spells, maybe some new elements. Earth, air could be interesting, they could be weak to each other. Water could be a possibility.
  • 2h weapons, spear/halberd weapons.
  • Archery weapons, 1h and 2h crossbows would be nice, that do more damage with a shorter range, but take longer to load.
  • Possibly an explosive skill (most people hate this idea), but it's entirely plausible to have gunpowder in this game made by alchemists.
  • Possibly a gun skill (could come under the same as archery), using gunpowder from alchemy, basic rudimentary guns that take ages to reload. Just another way for combat in this game, which I would enjoy, and is plausible.

-I'd like some sort of "build your own dwelling" type of thing in the wilderness. You could buy a plot of land and then buy extensions for it, like a second bedroom or a walled garden or something. In the end (if you had enough gold) you could have a farm with crops growing or something. I just like the idea of being able to have a farm in the wilderness.
