What do you want in the new DLC

snow map??? i lol'd :lmao: the ark is in the middle of the ocean, a tropical environment

i want new maps of course, new weapons i could take or leave, i would like some more clothing as well :)


I though that at first as well but then I realised they could make it work by it being some sort of freezer area you know like a giant in freezer or something It could work

Xp is the main incentive in this game so it make little sense to be able to max out your charater so fast. people want to invest time into their characters so these next 10 levels should be a chore to achive and something to keep players chugging along, imo.



I agree with this, but I feel more can be done. I think that we should get level points to use on abilities up to 30, but we should be able to go beyond level 30, mainly just for aesthetic purposes. It would really give players something to strive for. Also, implementing a corresponding image for each level would keep the player coming back, and help to develop more of an attachment to the character.

I put in hours upon hours into this game to rank up. The sense of achievement from unlocking ranks will keep players returning to the game, in addition to great game play of course.

I know this has been true for me in other FPS, and I would love to see this added in.

This is what i want from the 1st free dlc:

1st things 1st, a lobby for consoles then,

New game modes:
Random: a random objective pops up for both teams to complete, after one completes, another pops ups, this continues for 5 objectives or until one side completes 3 of 5
Hold the Objective: CTF but with objectives instead of flags

New XP levels:

A quick run down on abilities for extra levels:
Universal Abilities-
Health boost: x/5 each rank increases health by .10 to a max of .50
Damage Boost: x/5 each rank increases damage by .10 to a max of .50
Speed Boost: x/5 each rank increases player movement by .10 to a max of .50
Weapon mod: this ability will let you upgrade one area of your preferred weapon, be it accuracy, reload speed, stability etc. x/5 each rank allows 1 mod (max 2 mods per weapon)

soldier: ammo specialize (can only choose one)
Frost ammo- after 5 hits, players speed begins to slow. 1-3 hits before death player will freeze and die (ranks 1-5)
Fire ammo- after 3 succesful hits an enemy will burst into flames for a d.o.t (damage over time) effect. (ranks 1-5)
Shock ammo-Stuns an enemy for 2 sec and d.o.t for 2 sec (ranks 1-5)
Paralyze ammo-stuns an enemy for 1-2 sec and cripples movement for 3 afterwards

Engineer: As far as im concerned, engineer is the prefered class, so i would just augment what they have, same as soldier
Frost turret- after 5 hits, players speed begins to slow. 1-3 hits before death player will freeze and die (ranks 1-5)
Fire turret- after 3 succesful hits an enemy will burst into flames for a d.o.t (damage over time) effect. (ranks 1-5)
Shock turret-Stuns an enemy for 2 sec and d.o.t for 2 sec (ranks 1-5)

Medic: specialize (can only choose one)

Operative: This class needs the most help, its just not fun, so lets waste no time
Self buff: instant disguise, a one use instant disguise buff
Team buff: disguise kit- allows teamates to disguise themselves as a fallen enemy
misdirect-disguise enemys as friendly players so other enemys will attack them (rank 1-5 each rank adds a second to the ruse, starting at 2 seconds up to 7)
smoke bomb: a smoke bomb that does no damage but stuns the enemy (rank 1-5 each rank adds a second to stun) and adds smoke to obscure the area

and if there is time somewhere, a female option is highl on the priority list!! (at least for me)
So...you want Mass Effect.

I'll take all of that AND the storyline that was advertised and omitted as well as the better looking user interfaces that were advertised as well, objective wheel, the directioinal arrows for challenges, etc.... I think they need a some invironmental changes in a few maps, ie rain, night time, snow is not really feasable as mentioned above.

lol i agree a snow lvl lol come on where based on a island... more clothes yes thts a most deffinate.. i think there is a good variety of weapons for now.. SD should focus on new maps and gameplay types for the imediate future... another than tht very good game

Clothing items would be my number one choice, theres already a good selection, but more would be nice ^^
Maps would also be pretty high up my list, making more 'What if' style missions for said new maps what be pretty sweet.

More weapons though? dont see why we'd need them, infact i'd even go as far the say that the game has more than enough to begin with :P
But more weapon customization would be nice, a skin option for them would be awesome though!

Would love to see new maps, was very happy to that the free DLC would include some more maps.

What I want in the new DLC
  • More Shirts
  • More Pants
  • More Jackets
  • More Tattoos
  • More Scars
  • More Faces
  • More Head Items
  • More Weapons
  • More Weapon Attachments

Maybe me being a touch greedy :laugh:

But it would be great if they could start adding more clothing items for sure.

Parkour Maps? No thanks. I hardly use the Light Body type as much as I had thought. The Parkour feels weird; not that it's bad but it doesn't flow as great as I thought it would be. I think the kind of maps that they have now are good. A Parkour map wouldn't work because it would be hard to apply the "teamwork" aspect to the game if everyone is running ahead and leaving each other behind? The Snow map idea wouldn't work out mainly because isn't the Ark in the middle of the Pacific Ocean? But it was a good thought. More guns would be pretty cool and more levels means they could put in even more character customization would be awesome. I would like some better stuff for the Resistance. Kaythnxbai!

I have a few ideas, for SD.

1. You have 50,000 people living on the ARK. That leaves plenty of targets to be taken hostage/imprisoned. Security can rescue hostages and the resistance can break their buddies out of jail (jail break). The hostage rescue could take place in the science wing/bio wing of the ARK and of course the "jailbreak" would need to occur in the security compound. Soldiers would be needed to blow through the walls on each of the cells/offices. You could have several different maps for each of these scenarios and use it as a new gametype for BRINK or you could implement it into the campaign story line and just use as a seperate mission set for the original campaign. Either way would be fun, IMO. Just my $.02 and yes I know jailbreak has been done before but I think it adds more story and atmosphere to the game.

2.Create a king of the hill team game using parkour routes to get to a fighting platform up high.

Anything else using the parkour maps ie racing, would be boring,IMO.

Im down for everything but more ranks/levels. They set it up like that for a reason. This is not a mmorpg, no need to raise a level cap.
