same here. I only play light, so I occasionally swap out the kross for the bulpdaun on longer range maps, but otherwise thats my main setup.

On my med Soldier I run with the Lobster and the Carb - 9

It's crazy how much Crowd Control a soldier with a grenade launcher can lay down when the enemy team clumps together.

Aw, dude, I do that same exact thing (Except I use a Kross)

Cheers for amazing spam surpressive fire. :foodndrink:

Rokstedi, muzzle brake, rapid fire. Carb-9 up close, unless I know I'm going to run into a mess of people then I switch it for the Galatic with the drum mag.

Mossington Shotgun master face here. Also love using the pistols even as a medium, although I never touch the Kalt. Just not my style.

The Carb-9 and Gerund are my favorite. Personally Im more of a Assault rifle type of person but every other one is either semi-automatic or dont look good or modern. Hopefully it will be in the DLC.

There's a gun that looks like an MP9 from Rainbow 6 Vegas 2 that gun is great and the Gerund and the Rhett Assault Rifle. These are good guns.

Carb-9 Stats...

Leg Shot Damage: 17
Torso Shot Damage: 23
Head Shot Damage: 34

Rate of Fire: 909 rounds per minute
Reload Speed: 1.950

Standing accuracy: 2.3
Crouching accuracy: 2.1
Sighted accuracy: 2.0

Euston Stats...

Leg Shot Damage: 18
Torso Shot Damage: 25
Head Shot Damage: 37

Rate of Fire: 909 rounds per minute
Reload Speed: 1.650

Standing accuracy: 1.2
Crouching accuracy: 1.0
Sighted accuracy: 0.8

Lower accuracy numbers are better (lower spread per shot). The euston is pretty much better in every way than the carb-9 according to those stats... more damage, same fire rate, faster reload speed, better accuracy/stability, and there's the fact that it can attach an underslung grenade launcher. My only issue with it is that the euston has significantly less ammunition, which makes it riskier to use as a non-soldier character (soldiers never really have to worry about ammo, other classes do).

How sad it it that their stats are so close, but the SMG's keep their accuracy better when sustaining fire, keep relatively quick weapon swap speeds even with the same attachments, are available for use for all weight classes and HOLD MORE AMMUNITION. IMO the sustained fire spread for AR's and stock ammunition you start with should be tuned to AT LEAST be on par with SMG's if they do the same damage.

Assault rifles have pretty much zero damage falloff at long range, while SMGs begin to lose damage potential very quickly as you get to medium range, and do almost no damage at long range.
Assault rifles also have the option of attaching the underslung grenade launcher - a lot of people dont realize just how useful that attachment really is. The underslung grenades detonate on impact, deal a decent bit of damage, and -knock your target down- which makes it much easier to land subsequent shots with the rifle. Hell even if the grenades did no damage, the knockdown alone makes it a godly weapon attachment =P

Doubly so with the soldier frag abilities. But you need to be careful with your attachments when you are using it, put too much stuff on in addition to the noobtube and you will quickly end up with a difficult to use weapon.

I like the Carb-9 so much I'm using 2 with a medium on every loadout for every class.

I'm using the same loadout on both too; Grip, Muzzle break, Drum Magazine. Once in a while I add the greeneye scope.

You can use two if you have the Fallout DLC

I use the Medium class with these two weapons:

Primary-
Bulpdaun SMG with Dual-Vent muzzle brake, Speed-Sling, no top weapon attachment, and Duct-taped magazine,

Secondary-
Carb-9 SMG with Dual-Vent Muzzle brake, Speed-Sling, Yeotek Red dot sight, and Duct-taped magazine.

These two weapons combined with these weapon attachments=beast mode! :flamethrower:

Dragunov + Sea Eagle pistol

Dragunov:
- Good Damage at long range, not as good for headshots as the Bolt Action but a close second.
- Very good damage at medium range, with short stops in between shots it is quiet accurate, 2-3 shots for light, 3-4 for medium (unbuffed)
- Close Range, i mean very close, it works like a shotgun. Aim at lower part of body and just press Fire. People die faster then they can say "But how ?..."
- Very fast reload

The cons are that if jumped at close to medium range you will almost surely lose to an SMG or AR user.

Eagle Pistol:
- Long Range the Damage is actually pretty good, makes me suspect that the Range values on pistols are borked. Accuracy is excellent
- Medium Range the pistol is amazing for running and gunning, when the more stationary Dragunov is not an option. Good Headshot capabilities due to high accuracy. Fast shot rate.
- Close Range the pistol is ok, Knife comes in pretty handy here to finish off opponents which are low on health.
- Fast reload, excellent weapon also for Downed Fire.

The cons are that i tend to go all crazy with the pistol, taking potshots, which works very well bit depletes my ammo quiet fast. Friendly Soldier or a Command Post nearby is pretty much needed. Unless you die every time before your clip is empty, in which case you are doing it wrong :)

I run light soldier so it is Bulpdaun with Greeneye, down vent muzzle, grip, extended mag and Hockler with greeneye, muzzle brake, speed sling and extended mag.
Spray and pray, all the way.
Going to try them both out with silencers now I think as I do a lot of behind enemy lines work and should really go the stealth route.
The Hockler is good for the Downed Fire ability too, got me a lot of cheap kills with it. :ninja:
