I can't even think of the name of the one I use. One of the Smg's.

Gerund Assault Rifle is my favorite, but the Rhett is a close second.

CARB is godly, TAMPA has a nice capacity, too. The ARs are just too harmless to justify their usage. The automatic nade launcher can be quite fun, too. Sea Eagle(?) Pistol with multiple upgrades is my favourite. Out of the heavy MGs, I like the first one most, combined with red dot sight and muzzle break it's very accurate despite its size.

I like the FRKN-3K, its only a 3 burst but I like its good accuracy in long distances. May have to check out the Gerund though since ive seen a few people praise that AR. I agree with the Carb-9 being pretty godly though :cookie:

FRKN-3K. I like the bursts of damage, and I'm accurate enough or make every shot count. The delay between firing doesn't bug me at all.

i came up with this weird theory about the weapons' names. you did notice many of the guns in BRINK got RL counterparts, right? the Gerund reminds me of a HK 416, the Rhett is obviously SIG 551, the Galaxy SMG would be the HK UMP, Kross SMG counterpart is the Kriss Vector etc.
so i asked myself: why this names? Gerund and Rhett... hm...

here is what i think the developers brainstorming lineup was:

for the Rhett: SIG, cigarette, ciga-rette, rette, RHETT
for the Gerund: Heckler und Koch (HK - built the 416) is a GERman company, adding the UND from Heckler und Koch. you get GERUND

it was just an idea and proves that i am thinking too much. what do you think?

Euston has the exact same damage profile as the CARB-9, as well as the same RoF, but has (no joke) 10x less recoil. If you are a medium and are currently using the CARB-9 as your primary, upgrade to the Euston for way less recoil (and a little less spare ammo).

For me it's:
1. Euston
2. Bulpdaun
3. Barnett (only as an engie though so I can buff it to OHi)

Right now, it's the Rockstedi with acog, Kross with drum, and Maximus HMG when I'm heavy build.

Always playing as medium and I just about always use Gerund and Galactic. I'd like to like the Rhett, but somehow it just doesnt work anywhere near as well as Gerund does.

I'd also like to like the Mossington, but it doesnt quite seem worth it to trade so much range for stopping power, especially when many of the SMGs are on par with the shotty with even more range.

Now that I got improved weapon buff as engi, I've been finding myself using the Barnett a bit more often too. One shots mediums with a headshot.

Normally I'm pretty bad with shotguns in FPS games, but the Mossington is my go-to weapon in the rare occasions where I play as a Medium (I'm normally Light).

It's less range, but a point-blank headshot can one-shot a Light with a little luck, and even if you don't incap, the target gets knocked down. If it didn't have the knockdown effect, it wouldn't be as effective, but I find it pretty good just for that fact - it's a great counter to a Light who's trying to outSMART you instead of outsmarting you.

On my med Soldier I run with the Lobster and the Carb - 9

It's crazy how much Crowd Control a soldier with a grenade launcher can lay down when the enemy team clumps together.

On my heavy Engy I run the Minigun with the Mossington as my secondary.

Carb-9 Stats...

Leg Shot Damage: 17
Torso Shot Damage: 23
Head Shot Damage: 34

Rate of Fire: 909 rounds per minute
Reload Speed: 1.950

Standing accuracy: 2.3
Crouching accuracy: 2.1
Sighted accuracy: 2.0

Euston Stats...

Leg Shot Damage: 18
Torso Shot Damage: 25
Head Shot Damage: 37

Rate of Fire: 909 rounds per minute
Reload Speed: 1.650

Standing accuracy: 1.2
Crouching accuracy: 1.0
Sighted accuracy: 0.8

Lower accuracy numbers are better (lower spread per shot). The euston is pretty much better in every way than the carb-9 according to those stats... more damage, same fire rate, faster reload speed, better accuracy/stability, and there's the fact that it can attach an underslung grenade launcher. My only issue with it is that the euston has significantly less ammunition, which makes it riskier to use as a non-soldier character (soldiers never really have to worry about ammo, other classes do).
