Probably Dawnstar. It's laid out sort of strange, doesn't have a lot of amenities and doesn't feel like it has much character.

Dragon Bridge, because there's like nothing there. As for the major cities, probably Riften, if we're going by the people, that place is a sinkhole. As for general layout, Windhelm, because the entire city is a damn alleyway. I don't ever go to the Grey quarter cuz I have to spend like two minutes just trying to find my way back out again. That place is a giant cluster-[censored].

Morthal. That place has doom and depression written all over it.

Windehelm annoys me, with how narrow all the streets are, they make it feel tiny

That's funny, I actually like Windhelm for that very reason. It feels like a very dirty, cluttered city. If thats what Bethesda was going for, they did a great job! If not... well I still like it anyway! As for my least favorite city, probably Whiterun, just because I've been there the most often and I'm getting sick of it. (You tried mercenary work? It might sui-*SMACK*)

Falkreath because it is out of the way and it has always been the last city I visit. I tend to spend most of my time in riften.

If only considering the 5 main cities, Windhelm. Place is depressing.
If considering all 9 capitals, then Winterhold. For a village surrounding a centuries old College of mages, it's pretty underwhelming.

Windhelm. Depressing.

Not too fond of Falkreath, either.

Windhelm. The cities are small enough without using alleyways to make them feel smaller.

From an RP perspective, Markarth. At least in Riften the corrupt organization doesn't murder random people in the street.

From a gamer, Winterhold. That "city" is smaller than that creepy HP Lovecraft village from Oblivion.

Winterhold and Dawnstar were both kinda disappointing on my first visit.

Wanted there to be more to them.

Markarth... that city is evil. Windhelm may be racist, and Riften may be courrpt, but Markarth is all those things times 200 and more.

Winterhold. Yeah most of it fell off into the water but I feel it suffered most from the capabilities. If the world could have been bigger it would look like a city that was on its last legs rather than something that should be abandoned.

I like Riften for the same reason I hate it - it's like a medieval Detroit, and I grew up around Detroit. Still, I spend a lot of time in Riften for the Thieves' Guild and the fact that the people are actually kind of cool there.

As for my overall least favorite, I simply despise Morthal. And Falkreath, for that matter. Gloomy, creepy, no useful infrastructure, and the only interesting character in Morthal is a bloody

vampire.
