There were references to lisbians and threesomes (Ronald Laren went too far) in Fallout 3.
There's six because it's New Vegas, what would you expect?
Btw, TVtropes is just annoying.
And about all the six in the game, You gotta blame Bethesda.

Neversaynever, ever seen an Axe body spray add? Perfect example of the concept "six sells". While personally I think the mature content in NV is in there for humor, teh lulz, and because its Vegas.

Seriously. I find it strange how people are perfectly okay with blowing people into bits and murdering innocents in a video game, but showing any bit of nudity is completely wrong.

Anyway, I'd hardly say that the ability to have six with already present prosttutes and a single robot qualifies as "obsessed with six"

FalloutFTW, what you seem to be missing is that six is unnatural. Cutting someone up and indulging in Strange Meat and Fava beans however is perfectly natural.

correct, the bomb was for impact and the killing is to show what lengh people will go to in order to survive. six is only in the game to please six heads and for no reason.

The game needs a theme, Fallout 1 had humans trying to restore civilization, Fallout 2 had Reno, Harold and a crack-load of pop culture references and lots of teh lulz, Fallout 3 had green tint and Fallout New Vegas will have lots and lots and loooots of six.
