I start to feel powerful when I can hold my own in a room of about 5 powerful warriors and mages.

I only play warrior, so it takes a while to feel that good. But that`s why I like these games, struggle until you meet that magic crossover point.

Lvl20 - confident.
Lvl30 - powerful.
Lvl40 - overconfident.
I've experienced getting killed by a trap at lvl50 because I was stunned by having 90% of my health drrain from the first blow, the trap sprung again while I was standing on the pressure plate recovering from the utter shock of disbelief :D

A room of 5 powerful warriors and mages is so rare it almost does not exist. The majority of the time you fight 1 or 2 things at a time. Even 2 enemies at once is pretty rare.

It was when I started trying to powerlevel my restoration skill of my warrior/cleric and just let draugr deathlords beat on me. With dragon armor I didn't realize how weak their hits were until I stopped trying to evade. My thief character was fun, but you had that fear of being discovered. With my warrior, I just walk up, and the enemy is the one that is afraid. Armor is too strong and my melee hits kill most things in a single blow. You just walk in and start killing, pausing occasionally to heal yourself.

On what planet?

I`ve been in a dungeon when I got attacked by at least 5 powerful warriors. I know, because they kept decapitating me and doing finishing moves on me and that was after I reload several times!

You get way more than just two attackers in some places.

But maybe it`s because I play on the hardest difficulty.

The day I picked up a cast iron V8 engine block and put it in my trunk to bring it to the machine shop was when I started to feel Powerful

When I created an Orc Warrior. LOL

But, especially once you get to be about level 25 with a strict path through the perks, it's a walk in the park to destroy anything but a named boss, on Master skill level.

When I am stealing from some of the cities, and it stops when I resist arrest. I try and take as many as I can which is only three at the moment.

Being an archer, I felt pretty powerful from the get-go. Bleak falls barrow was a breeze. I could two shot everything that wasn't a deathlord. Those were three shots if I could maintain sneak. If not, yeah they could be a bit annoying.

Why don't you play on master then? :P

My character felt powerful once my character started to be able to easily take out sabre cats and frost trolls without any real effort.

When I started doing 150+ Damage with a sword and ended up putting 80 points worth of shocking/frost damage on it and it still had more then a 100 charges. I named it the Stormrider.

When I killed 2 giants in melee. Of course next cave I went into some bandit chieftain quickly disabused me of the notion I was powerful by one-shotting me.

At level 55 my mage still doesn't feel overpowered which is a first for me in a Bethesda game. I feel powerful yes, but I can still be one shot by many things so I have to play carefully even now. I can also one shot many things but powerful enemy archers and spell users can easily take me out with a direct hit. Archers are the worst because I often won't even see it coming. There's a much better balance for the way I play than in previous ES games where I was always a god by this point.

After I spammed Muffle to get 100 Illusion and proceeded to Frenzy everything ;o
yep,
Like I mentioned before in other posts. Yes Oblivion had exploits, but Skyrim's are insanely obtainable even compared to that game. You can just about exploit more then half the lousy 18 skills in this game. Good Job Bethesda.....lol
