Post » Thu May 26, 2011 7:51 pm

I really want know, is there any new or even a change telling me that they are working on fixing the Low FPS Bug.

And one more question, does the BRINK developers read what we post here, or we are just talking to ourself all the time?

Mine is ASUS G73

ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5870 ( 1 ) GB

Intel core i7

Ram 8GB

Windows 7 64 Bit

Please Fix the bug issue for this Graphic Card.

Are you talking about lag in MP or just a low framerate in general? What are your specs and what settings are you using?

Operating system?
Video card manufacturer and model?
Driver version?
Processor manufacturer and model?

Developers cant fix problems if they don't know what kind of hardware is having trouble.

A good example would be:

Intel C2D e6600 @ 3.4ghz
Nvidia GTX260
2gb of ram (lol)
Win 7 x64

I have no framerate issues with medium/high settings even though most of my hardware is ~4 years old, and I can max everything out at 1680x1050 and get about 30fps on container city.

BRINK fell short on what they were going to offer gameplay wise, add in the graphics issues, and we're going to see the community take a huge hit.

Personally I have to force myself to start up the game and play, rather then simply want to.

This is crunch time SD, time to shape up or ship out. To all nay sayers, or anyone who disagrees with me, I have this to say: The numbers don't lie. Look at the player count for BRINK, now, consider it's a new game, within a week of release, and 2 days of it's European release. What we see is the hype of new players, SD has to fix this game before that wears off, or this game will flop.

ROLL BACK YOUR DRIVER.
The 11.5a driver hotfix does nothing fix anything anymore after the patch.
The patch has fixed the gridlines and some other issues with crashes and the Hotfix makes it worse so roll back the driver and youll have fine FPS.

I'm telling you it does nothing but just for fun. Uninstall the driver through device manager then install 11.3 drivers. Been there did that and it didn't help. I'm nit dying to be negative but tons of people have done everything and we all still have the lag/ low fps. Wait for a patch is what you can do.

Fix it ASAP!

Pushing out a game a week EARLY with all these major bugs was just stupid,i can't even say how stupid it was.
if Bethesda sayed push the game out as fast as possible, okay screw you Bethesda but this is not understandable.

I don't care about little bugs such as "Turret is to slow to kill people sometimes"they get fixed anyway but having a game out that is not working at all for so much people is beyond me.

I like you SD as a developer, you brought us nice games no question but the Brink release is one of the worst releases in gaming history.

Changing Drivers do NOTHING.Maybe with driver X 3 FPS more as with driver Y but.......i want my steady 60 FPS. >.<

Thats not how you roll back a driver. Go to computer right click and select manage then click on Device Manager and then select Display Adapters and click Roll Back this is only if you have installed the HotFix. If you haven't and are still getting the problem then there is something else not driver related so for good measure download DriverCleanerPro and wipe your driver by selecting the driver and cleaning twice then restarting and then update to the latest driver without the hotfix after that you know its not driver related as thousands if not tens of thousands of people are going completely fine.

Also on MP we have a cap at 30fps anyway for fair combat.

Anyone needing a roll back, make sure you are following these directions, if you remove through programs removal you aren't removing every part of your previously installed driver and if you have been doing this for a while, you probably have some conflict issue somewhere with your drivers. IF you were to use the program removal tool, just make sure you follow up with DriverCleanerPro to remove existing bits that the uninstall didn't remove.

Thanks,
Sinn

Thanks for the backup.
Many people dont know that the companies leave things behind that will be used by new drivers that could be the main thing corrupting it all.

Really, how come I'm running 500+ FPS in menu and 120-160 ingame playing on servers?
