No idea why, but this little giggle reminded me of the "Chuck Norris in Oblivion" episodes... ah, the memories.

Bandit zones tend to be pretty easy until either, the boss gets into melee range or, I get stuck fighting a lot of guys in melee while an archer uses me as a target dummy. The worst is when you are fighting weak bandits and the easy bandits give way to rather easy draugr who then give way to a face smashing end boss. Makes me feel nervous about proceeding in any dungeon because unlike in Oblivion, most dungeons are 1-2 levels and sometimes the hard enemies appear out of nowhere. Whereas in OB ( maybe it was just the FCOM install I had at the end that is making me think this was the case for Vanilla) the harder enemies were reserved for the lower levels so that if it started getting challenging you could still back up and leave. Made the game Rogue like in a way.

When I enter a cave, I usually feel the urge to tap Ctrl and hold W for a time. I might also feel the urge to spin the mouse around and/or press A and D in quick succession.

Depending upon what's actually inside the cave, I may also end up tapping my E and TAB keys one after the other and clicking my right mouse button. Repeatedly.

Bandits are tricky. You're mowing them down and all of a sudden a random boss or archer drops a bunch of hurt on you. I've been one- or two-shotted more than once by bandit chiefs doing inordinate amounts of damage. (Level 25 sword & board with an armor rating nearing 400.)

Well, I used console commands to make one of my characters allied with bandit factions, so recently I've been entering them with the most unusual feeling that I've come home. They don't greet me by name or anything, but their gruff greetings are greetings nevertheless. A nice change of pace from the usual sword to the throat. I listen in on their conversations - their monologues are especially poignant. One of them seems surprisingly bright; he reminisces about his father having told him to head for the College when he was younger. Another muses about the possibility of paying off his bounty, entering the hold a free man. And then I hop onto another one of my characters and feel guilty for killing them so mercilessly. They slaughter innocents for their valuables; I come into reprehensible contracts with Daedric princes and join clans of assassins and thieves. Are we really so different? Heck, I'd go so far as to say that they're a sight better human beings than I am.

I feel like I've been there before. For example, between exploring on my own, larger quests and simple bounty jobs, I've gone through Treva's Watch three times.

Maaan, you're making me nostalgic about Oblivion with that kind of talk :C

I usually put them to the sword anyway, but if I could persuade them or hit them with a strong calm spell, I'd totally have a drink with them :{D~

Early levels... sneaky with a bow
Mid levels... sneaky with a bow/1 handed weapon
Mig-High levels... sneaky with a 2handed axe/hammer/sword
At lvl 50+, when I got all the gear the way I want I go in there and Shout to get their attention then I bash heads, that's how much confidence I have in my character... for some reason I still sneak when I know it's vampires :/

I feel disapointed I mean I've already been to so many bandit caves why can,t there be a magic anomilie cave or a atronach cave or even better dremora lord cave
You joke, but one 'Bandit' cave I went into ended up actually being full of conjurers and Atronach, which I did not expect at all.

Considering how casters are that one thing that still give me pause, it was rough going.

I normaly feel I would love to not be in a banit cave again. Regret that now we don't even bother naming NPCs like we used to they are all just "Bandit Something". And hopeful that skyrim isn't just one long drawn out bandit cave forever (not really I completed it once I know it is).

I feel curious which one of these guys is the one I would like the most. Although randomly generated, some of the dialogue bandits have when you're near but they don't detect you makes you feel like they're really not that bad as people. Some of them are probably more afraid about their way of life than confident. Or just really funny.

I especially like the orcs. They remind me of Tohru from Jackie Chan Adventures :{D~
Hahahaha Yes...

There was one time when a bandit started singing about a lady he used to know.

Lying face down in the middle of the room, directly in front of him, was the dead female body of one the fort's previous occupants.

Sometimes their random dialogue makes them look like psychopaths!
