so the novac motel room is permanent? and if you dont side with house do you lose the suite?

not necessarily, you initially have to anyways to get the story moving along, so you'll get it no matter what...you play the rest of the game your way

ok, so i can tell house ill be on his side, get the suite, and then say "screw you, im going to the NCR/CL" and keep the suite?

I've been using the following:

I put a gun, knife, powder ganger suit, ammo and psycho in a lockbox in one of the houses in goodsprings to see how long it would last.. (the house with the bb gun, teddy bear, lockbox, double bed, desk and chest. #16 on the goodsprings map if you have the guide) 14 hours of gameplay and 7 in game days later and it's all still there.. Don't know how long it'll last but I guess I'll see.. Maybe it won't disappear.. or maybe going back and checking on it makes it last longer.. Who knows.
