Prometheus' mountains reminded me of Skyrim. I then paused the movie and played Skyrim for like a hour. Then, watched Prometheus, which is boss.

just saw that movie today, pretty awesome.
Spoiler
Looked like an Alien prequel to me.

OT: like i said above, LOTR.

Lord of The Rings. And another, which is not a movie, but watching Game of Thrones made me want to play Skyrim. I always get a Skyrim vibe from Game Of Thrones, a grounded realistic world with magical elements that go perfect together and still keep it feeling real all the way through each episode. I hope Bethesda look at the show for some inspiration on DLC and I hope the show (I know it is based on the books, but the look and such they can do their own) takes ideas from Skyrim.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who thinks that. Plus, the guy who plays Buliwyf (Vladimir Kulich) is the voice of Ulfric, so there's that. No other movie makes me think Skyrim more than The 13th Warrior.

When you die, can I give that to my daughter?

Only an Alik'r Arab brings a dog to war! ;)

I just watched that movie, and I swear I saw one of the Wendol wielding a Forsworn axe. Also, I had to giggle. After one of the fight scenes, they asked if Ragnar still had his head.

The guy who played the leader of the Norseman is also one of the voices in Skyrim (I think...). I thought it was cool.

Seems people have forgotten a little gem of a movie called "Legend".

Skyrim really needs a character like the devil in that movie...

Instead of this movie making me want to play Skyrim, Skyrim makes me want to watch Willow.

None.

But I once decapitated a person with my soul-stealing katana. It reminded me of Highlander.

I honestly couldn't tell you why or how. There wasn't anything significant in the game that made me think of the movie, it just popped in my head once, and still does once in awhile lol.

It's a comedy and appears to be quite low budget. It's about King Arthur trying to do a quest for God to get the Holy Grail. For some reason, KotN reminds me of the Crusades time period.
Lol it's not low budget it's just it was made in 1975 (37 years ago).
