Which preorder pack is the best

If you buy for PC it doesn't matter. The dev console will allow you to use the player.additem code to give yourself whatever pack you want to.

Or load an ESP that fools the game into thinking it was preordered somewhere else.

My understanding is that you input the code somewhere and then DL the items. Which means you won't beable to player.additem them. The canteen and the binoculers are attanable in the game, the only thing in the packs that you can't get in the game are the weapon and the armor. And that's just to say you can't get that specific weapon or armor. There will be other 10mm pistols but only one weathered one with that texture, there will be other shotguns but only one with that texture, etc etc etc. And yes, modding in the pre-order items are usally against the rules.

As for me, I voted the caravan because that's the one I like the most. I'm going to be getting the classic caravan though... that is to say that my collectors edition has been pre-ordered via Gamestop with a second copy pre-ordered via Wal-Mart, the pre-order code will be kept while the game will be Christmas gifted to my brother.

I got the classic, but my favorite is the caravan pack. I just ordered from Gamestop so I could get the Collector's Edition without having to resort to Amazon or some online source (I want to play the game day one!).

I'm getting the caravan pack since I pre-ordered from Walmart. Shipping was only 97 cents, with a guaranteed release day delivery, so I'll be playing on day one and I won't have to get dressed and leave the house. I almost went for the classic pack to get the canteen, but my local Lamestop doesn't carry PC games. To order it online through Gamestop I'd have to pay tax, and the cheapest shipping was $3 (5-10 days). I might still have been able to pre-order from the store, but it was easier and cheaper to order it from Walmart. Well it would have been cheaper to order it from Steam and avoid tax and shipping, but I'm getting the collectors edition.

One of the hundreds of other posts about these pre-order packs, a dev. posted that there are no other usable canteens in the game, except some armors that have them attached. In the weapon list at The Vault, the 10mm pistol from the classic pack is the only 10mm pistol in the game. There is a 10mm SMG, so 10mm ammo will still be common. I don't know if there are other binoculars in the game or if that is unique to the caravan pack.

I don't think it will matter on the PC anyway. The pre-order packs are downloaded from Steam after entering your pre-order code. I'm sure it will be an .esp mod file. I wonder if they will have a way to stop people from copying them, or if they'll care. Either way, I'm sure one of the first mods will probably be a refillable canteen.

Well, I wanted the Caravan pack, but it looks like I'll have to settle for Classic or Mercenary as only GAME and Gamestation sell the Collector's Edition in England... great.

Really, I can't pick. Both seem equally lame. A hate vault jumpsuits and the Lightweight Metal looks weird as hell. Oh well. I just really wanted the leather. :(

Are these preorder bonuses limited to the US? 'Cause I cannot seem to find a single online store here in Norway with anything but the CE :swear:

They are definitely coming to Europe, and I'm sure they'll be confirmed for Norway soon enough.

Sounds good! New Vegas is definetly the first game I've ever wanted this much since Gears 2, and I really would like to make the experience as good as possible.
Easily achievable without the preorder packs, however seeing what they contain... I NEED THIS! :)

I voted for Classic since I don't support Wal-[expletive DELETED].
