The effects are so minor I wouldn't base my purchasing decision on it.

Ive preordered the day before release before.

I pre-ordered from gamestop, personally it makes very very little difference to me. I know gamestop is a rip-off, but they'll at least give me a value for trade-ins, however meager it may be.

Well, it all depends on what type of character you intend to play first. I plan on playing a Doc Holliday-like character, so picked the Steam one, since it seemed to fall in line with that, what with the shotgun and leather armor. The binos sound good too, considering he will be either an up close and personal pistol fighter or a long-range sniper, depending on the situation... I have a tribal character I plan on playing, but that isn't til later, so didn't do the Amazon order. But yeah, pretty sure that's it. I personally think it was good marketing, since they all offer different incentives for different players while also allowing all of them to carry pre-order, without giving preference to the vendor.

I chose the classic pack because the vault 13 canteen is the only thing that wont be pointless, outdated, or used up.

Caravan Pack, because it seems real.

Yeah. I'd say the best place to pre-order is "the one nearest my house / place of work".

Depends on your preferences. Do you like shotguns, go with caravan. Do you like grenades? Go with Mercenary. Etc. Etc..

It would be a matter of opinion, but i chose the classic pack because i like the canteen.

Even if I had pre-ordered it I wouldn't use the code. Pre-order bonuses are stupid and the items will be made available through mods within days after release.

I'm getting the Classic pack because I actually remember making a character that came out of Vault 13 all those years ago.

I preordered from Best Buy because I had a gift card. I'd rather have preordered from Gamestop, but I didn't have a gift card for Gamestop... instead I had a gift card for Best Buy... :sadvaultboy:

I chose the Classic Pack because it just feels a little nostalgic and i want that for my first play through where my main mission will be to take out the guy who shot me in the head. And all the other stuff will be there for later play throughs.

I wouldn't pick your store based on this. The pre-order stuff isn't really going to give you any sort of significant advantage.

I'm going down there tomorrow to pre-order that.

I pre ordered through steam as I just wanted to download it without going into the shops. The kits had no influence.
