I have a Kajiit but I have not played him in quite a while. The Kajiit should be amazing physically but they are just humans with cat skins and funny accents actually.

I would love to play a realistic Kajiit. A cat being that size would literally play with the werewolf in the game, then kill him and do interesting things with his parts. My cat can run up trees.

It used to make a difference with both beast races, because they had Athletics. And.... now they don't. "The wind blows bitter cold in this place."

Not once, and I've played every TES game except Daggerfall. Just never got into it.

Which races are considered 'beast' races? Just the Khajiits and Argonians? No, I've never played one. My favorite race is Redguard, then Dunmer.

I think you'll find that most of the fandom has never played as a beast race. That isn't the case with me, though, as Khajiit are pretty much all I'll play as. Can't stand humans or weirdly colored humans with pointy ears.

I commend you, but... I don't think elves are just weirdly colored. Maybe in other fantasy settings, but all of the mer really seem like different races to me.

I haven't. Played as a Nord, an Imperial, and a High Elf. But I'm thinking of starting an Argonian tomorrow.

Never. Can't get past the creepy tail.

Come one, now. Dat tail is the best part :hubbahubba:

And tails :hehe: That is true, they are too human, i'd love to see them something more like the werewolves. But atleast they look better than ever in Skyrim.

I never have but gonna make a orc Light armor Assassin with duel daggers with flesh spells and enchanting for one hand weap and go BESERK. Maybe make him a vampire for night vision and invisibility. Prolly kill everyone. Make friends and feed off them. Try this roleplaying out. Ill side with the stormcloaks and use there homes for shelter and riverwood to trade and invest in by retrieving the claw. Gonna go full blown vamp... Dragon light armor with a hood... L drag helm is ugly. My mission is to becom vampire lord maybe one day and form a vamp guild with a chain dragon bone whip :)

i can hardly play any race but a beast race, iv one nord in all my time in skyrim but i hardly even play him

p.s. argonians should be able to fly already, the sarpa tribe has wings (i hope it is literal but it may be figurative) so why are we always stuck playing as nagas

I almost never make a beast race, only time i think i really did was in Oblivion i made a 2 hand warrior Argonian named "Shows-No-Mercy

I think in Morrowind way back then i may have had another Argonian, not sure...as for the Khajiit, nope never i'm not really sure why though.

One thing i really hate though is how human like they are now, walk and talk too much like the human races. i really liked how diverse they were in Morrowind.
Think i might make another beast race sometime soon, but for now my next playthrough is going to be a pure mage.

P.S. forgot to mention the most common races i normally play as...Nord , Dark Elf, and Breton.
I'v never really made an Altmer cause i couldn't get past being yellow. but this is what i have planned for my pure mage next.
Orcs..tried them but never stuck with it.
Wood Elf, think i tried a few but they're so weird looking and seem weak to me.
Redguard, don't think iv ever tried one...i just can't see myself playing a black character ( yes i know it's racist but it's just how i am and the way i see it lol )
As for the Imperial i think iv tried a few but never stuck with it because they seem to plaint to me and nothing special, as for Skyrim i hate them, tried to chop my head off for no reason, which is why i never go on their side.

I've not played a beast race before either. I've been tempted to do a Khajiit this time around, since they do look so awesome in Skyrim... but I think it's also a matter of not getting my head around being a different species, game or not. I'm a human, and I think I prefer my characters be human as well... even being Mer is a little wierd, I think... although I've been also tempted to try being a Bosmer. But that's another story.

Never had. I just couldn't last long playing as a walking cat. Besides, it doesn't feel right being allowed in cities as a catman or treated the same or barely different by a nord who praises nords and frowns on elves.
Yea I think it would've been cool if the races got a little more recognition. :(

  • It's hard enough to roleplay as a human.

My very first character ever in Morrowind was an Argonian. I promptly stopped playing him after I realized I couldn't wear shoes or helms haha

The majority of my characters since Morrowind have been Dunmer, with a few Bretons, Imperials or Redguard thrown in, and now a Nord. Never played as an Argonain or Khajiit.

Call me a speciesist but I've never once made a beast race. I've thought about it from time to time, but I've never actually done it.

I usually play both humans and beasts, just for seeing the differences in dialogues and stuff. I love when bandits are after my khajiit and yell "Imma take care of the cat"
