Who here has never played as a beast race?

I have never played as a beast race in any TES games. In Morrowind I didn't, same with Oblivion. My next build is going to be a Khajiit assassin.

So who here has never played as a beast race?

I haven't yet either because I don't really dig their racial bonuses. It would be nice if playing a different race really made a big difference but will be tough with shouts being available.

I've only played as an Argonian one time in Oblivion. I probably won't play as either race in Skyrim.

I played an Argonian sociopath in Morrowind. Not sure why I originally chose it. I think it was the cool athletics bonus.

Orcs aren't beast races, they are mer. Sometimes called 'beastlike'.

I haven't yet played as a beast race, my current character is a good natured orc.

I'd love a whole game with beast "centricity". Not just argonians and khajiits, but more. Something in the Akaviri lands (snake people, tiger people, monkey people... hell, we can even say dragons are an old akaviri beast race). I wonder if Khajiits are distant relatives of the tiger people of Akavir.

A little off topic but I've never played an elf. Played a lot of Khajiit though.

ive never had the nerve to play a beast race in a TES game until..now, actually, in skyrim. my khajiit assassin is a very fun race to play. but not until skyrim, they just looked so stupid in morrowind/oblivion.

In Skyrim I haven't yet. In Oblivion I played an Orc once, an Argonian twice, and Khajiit once. For the most part I prefer Nords and Breton, always have.

Never had. I just couldn't last long playing as a walking cat. Besides, it doesn't feel right being allowed in cities as a catman or treated the same or barely different by a nord who praises nords and frowns on elves.

Everything looked stupid in those games =)

Well, not in Morrowind so much. Good style, just not so great graphics.

morrowins style was great, yes, but the graphics and really weird walking style just threw it off, it looks super stupid...and oblivion..lol..there is nothing good to say about the art style/graphics of that game, character models were horrendous, and khajiits and argonians looks so stupid, it was literally laughable...everytime i saw one i just died laughing..

I haven't yet to play a beast race cuz I think I'm more of an elf-person. But I'm thinking of creating a Khajiit nightblade on my next build, just to try it out. But I'm still disappointed that race is not really affected in this game, so it's not much of an incentive to play a beast race like Khajiits.

Imperials, Nords, a Dark Elf or two..... various elf & human mod races. No beasts, no orcs, no High or Wood elves.

*raises hand*

I don't like how they're just humans with a tail glued on. Makes them look like some guy in a costume. I got morrowind recently and at least that game has unique models for the beasts. I'd consider playing one there.

So far, I've played a Dunmer (my first TES character ever - started out as an archer but has turned into a jack-of-all trades), a Breton (mage) and an Orc (warrior). These are all current characters who have not completed the game yet.

Once I've retired one or two of these, I'll probably roll a Khajiit.
