Who's your wifehusband and why?

Post » Mon Jun 11, 2012 11:47 pm

I am going to marry Illia via console command. Simply because we are a good team. And after saving Illia I thought she is a friend.... stupid, but I gave her best clothes and staffs. Yes, I think she will be the wife of my character. :celebration:

Who's your wife/husband?
Erik the Slayer is my character's husband. She likes him for his naive enthusiasm, his boyish charm, because he wants to be wherever she is, and because he's cute.

Single.
Why?
Because I am also single irl (I try to put myself into the game instead of having my character there).
Why?
Because I can't stand a same person around me more than a week.

The fact that we are both (you know what) makes me think that we would make a better bond together. Plus have you seen her jugs?

No one because I cant make them wear or do exactly what I want, when I want. And I also didnt get married just in case they add more people to the marrying list.

My first character took Wilhelm as his husband. Why Wilhelm? Mostly because he was the first person I spoke to whilst wearing the Amulet of Mara who wanted anything to do with me. Also because his name is Wilhelm and that makes me laugh.

We have had a long, happy marriage. Oh sure, he doesn’t follow you or fight by your side like some but the guy makes a cracking apple pie and, really, what more can you ask for in a husband?

My current character hasn’t married yet because she’s still trying to decide between Farkas and Vilkas.

Rowan married her longtime sidekick Vorstag. They are hilarious together.

Jensa is heartbroken over Erik the Slayer. He’s just not interested, no matter how many times she flaunts the jewelry.

J’Shanji is holding out for a Khajiit, though Ysolda is looking better and better.

You play on PC?

From the Bugs-section of:

http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Marriage

Although listed as possible marriage options, there have been many reports of some NPCs (Lydia being the most common example) as not having the dialogue required for marriage. This can be fixed via the console, in which using the command addfac 19809 1 after clicking on them adds them to the potential marriage options faction.

Just remember to actually wear the Amulet of Mara.
It worked on my Lydia (who can't be married by default).

This screenshot is from yesterday, when I proposed to her haha

Only one i've married was Ysolda. Because her dialogue implies she's a furry, symbolically, and my character was a furry, literally :teehee:

clearly you're using mods so it's no surprise you married her.
What's up with the huge fake boob mod? Do they keep her from drowning :P

I gotta say the graphics are a huge difference from xbox...me jealous

Having played several characters already only a few have wed. To be honest I found that marriage is kind of there, but does not really do anything that is really beneficial. Sure I might get the Lover’s Comfort perk before going over to do some Smithing, but even that really is not that helpful.

So far I have married:

Ysolda to my Khajiit rogue, since she is the only female I found in Skyrim that seems to like the Khajiit.

Jenassa to my Dunmer assassin. They were just one of a kind, her and I. Note Jenassa has by for the best dialog of any spouse I have seen.

Slygja to my Nord warrior. Honestly I just thought she was cute and I used her mother as a companion. Ok, honestly I was hoping for a three way with the mother (also very cute) and daughter, but that just did not happen.

Borgakh the Steel Heart to my Orc warrior. He was looking for glory and wanting to start a new Orc clan. She became his first wife.

My main guy married Muiri. She was the only one who ever said anything along the lines of "I'll never forget you" and "Take this, as a token of my affection". Plus, she clearly had no problem with his slightly sketchy work. :P

My Nord Warrior married Lydia. They've been through pretty much everything together.

My reclusive Dunmer Witch Hunter chanced upon an amulet of Mara and Mixwater Mill. He helped Gilfre with the mill and eventually married her. It's a great base of operations for him to do extensive hunting in the hinterlands of Skyrim.

My Breton Battlemage is still unmarried. Not sure who I want her to marry. :P

Yeah, whole bunch of mods, including super-skimpy armors, wet skin effect, and briast & butt physics (BBP) on top.

Lydia's boobs from the screenie ain't that big as the image suggests...it's the Nocturnal Robe (BBP compatible), that makes them look slightly bigger than when she's naked.
The robe is awesome, it changes it's semi-transparent colour, depending on the environmental lights....sometimes, it looks blue-ish, sometimes it has a skin-like tone, and in bright sunlight it looks shiny white, almost non-transparent.
To bad you're on console, indeed...with all the mods being released, the whole Skyrim gets a stunning facelift.
Well, I'm off into the game, Lydia has prepared a meal for the 2 of us. :P
