Who's your wifehusband and why?

Post » Mon Jun 11, 2012 3:48 pm

The wife on my current account is Muiri. I like her but... everytime she greets me, it's with: "Thanks for solving my... problem."

I do not like the fact my wife keeps reminding me about the fact I killed her ex and therefore I sent her to my home in Riften, where I never go and I haven't renovated yet. I kinda wish I had married Mjoll. >_> (Is there any way to divorce in this game?)

Who's your wife/husband?

No one because I cant make them wear or do exactly what I want, when I want. And I also didnt get married just in case they add more people to the marrying list.

Used the console and married Hroki, later realising that being tied-down didn't really suit my character. If I did marry anyone in the future it would probably be Mjoll, not before killing her annoying tag-along [censored]-bag follower.

I have no wife/husband, nor do I plan on getting one. I don't play TES games for their "romance" value. It is fine that they incorporated a "marriage" possibility. I am glad that they made it something you could easily avoid. I never

wear an amulet of Mara.
I always sell those as soon as I find one.

Iona. Nords treat marriage as a convenience and little more. And this was convenience itself. She's a Housecarl, so you don't get two people cluttering your home, and once the date is set, none of that traipsing the whole province, the temple is but a short walk away.

It was Ysolda until I found out that she was selling Sleeping Tree Sap. Now she's behind my house along with Nazeem

Gat gro-Shargakh, it makes me a little uncomfortable when he say "my love" to me in such a masculine voice.

Jordis the sword maiden. She had been my follower for ages, so I didn't see why not. Plus she has a nice personality, not a deep one, but nice nonetheless.

Just got hitched to Janessa (however her name is spelt) last week. My dark elf mage/assassin couldn't be happier. He views her a super hot, and loves the fact she appreciates art in blood. Together they shall create some masterpieces. He has a super soft spot for romance. Even in the middle of a kill, seeing a young couple in love got him all warm and fluttery....and a 'awwwww' out of him. Then of course he's shoving a blade into somebody's heart and life goes on

I married Brelyna Marrion from the College of Winterhold, since I′m playing an Altmer myself and couldn′t imagine to marry one from the human kind, since they have shorter lifespans then Elves. And she was the nicest of all the marriageable Elves.

The first one I married was Ysolda, mostly to test out the same-six marriage to see how it would go. Probably not the best reason to marry someone, but my first character is more of a test of what the game is like than serious roleplaying.* From now on I'll likely be making eyes at Vorstag, though. ;)

*Yes, I'm still on my first one, I go slowly. <_<

Happily single in-game.

I model myself on "The Situation" in Skyrim and a RL relationship is enough for my plate thanks.

I would have married the imperial lady in Riverwood if she didn't share her gold with her brothers and have her boyfriends come visit. The companions (aela) were the best looking with the least problems but the quests required were too much. The others were all too old and ugly.

So it was Ysolda, the little drug dealing waif. I just won't let her take over the bar, that's all.

I thought about it a lot :)

Yeah, I married Ysolda I thought I could put her in the cute white chief dress..
As much as this bummed me out at first..I got over it as soon as I saw the money coming in. Just wish I could ask her how her day is...feel like an awful partner.

My current character is an orc female warrior married to Farkas. I know he's like the "go-to" guy, but there's a reason- he's adorable. However I just felt their personalities would be really similar and that the experience of

having beast blood
would be a bonding thing that would transcend the racial difference. And I think they're cute together.

Muiri's like an ex-biker chick who probably got passed around like a bottle of whiskey.

I've married Aela and Ysolda. Not a lot of difference but at least Ysolda doesn't have that husky man voice.

I used the console to marry the Jarl of Whiterun. I would have married Ulfric if he was available, but the Jarl of Whiterun was my 2nd choice. He's cute. :)

Faralda for all but one of my Altmer (I have 4 Altmer) - yes, even the woman. There aren't marryable Altmer males that I know of, even with console commands.
Other than that, my Thalmor RP married Niranye.

Only married human of mine was my Nord "test" character who married Ysolda. I abandoned the character rather early so it doesn't really even count.
