At some point, TES is going to run out of new provinces to visit... and if we ever make it to Akavari or any place outside of Tamriel....

The world is only so big.

Personally, I would rather leave the new areas to future games.... and revisit old areas via DLC/expansion.

Eventually the hardware will allow us to visit everything at once, but we're just not there yet... and God help us... that game would take 10,000 forevers.

Yeah, I do. But it might be nice to see morrowind again. And the newer TES players can have a chance to see it.

I'd rather we don't retread old ground, without vastly sufficient narrative justification for doing so.

Akavir located 4200 Miles east of Tamriel. I would really like to have this DLC. I would even pay 100 Buck for it. I really want to know what happen to the Neveravine. I want to fight the Kamals the "Snow Demons", the Tsaesci the "Snake People" the Tang Mo, Brave Monkeys, trained in Marksman they use one my favorite weapons - Darts, & Throwing Stars. Last of all i would like to meet the Ka Po'Tun "Tigers".

Man i wished this really happened.
Or Maybe Atmora, or Yokuda?

PC hardware is there to do anything on any scale the dev's could imaging/pay for. The money and time are the ceiling. That said we are probably looking at shivering isles like DLC and sommerset isles for the next game or somthing :P

Oh, PC hardware is capable of providing a good chunk of it... but the software hasn't quite caught up. Feels strange to see hardware actually leaving software in the dust for a change.

Or, perhaps, hardware has always been on the razor's edge.

Your argument dismisses consoles, which are admittedly a few years behind the curve, but until consoles become PC's (which they edge closer to every year with each new generation) that is the hardware I am speaking of.

Please try to respond to that with the smallest amount of PC elitism as possible.

Do you know how awesome it'd be to visit cyrodiil or vvardenfell again with the graphics we have today? I hope they do this.

Well the timeline keeps moving forward, so I could imagine a Morrowind 2 game that takes place 500 years in the future. About the time Tamriel moves into the industrial revolution.

Well OP I can tell you to go play Arena.. that had all of Tamerial

Reason why people want DLC for MW or similar is because it would be interesting to experience for those who have not and or those who have and go do new quests.

Oh no doubt, that would be awesome.

I would hope we visit the majority of Nirn before then, but would not be dissatisfied with a reinterpretation of Morrowind/Daggerfall/Arena.

Though, to be honest, the vets would be burning thier panties in the streets.

*Edit*

Two s's in dissatisfied? Just doesn't look right....

I would like to revisit Cyrodil, Morrowind and High Rock with these new tricked out graphics. Would definitely pay ten bucks or so for them.

I wish that too, but i think that will never happen due to the fact that their game lose complexity every game they make. And daggerfall was much more complex then Oblivion and skyrim, perhaps even Morrowind.

Daggerfall had thousand of city, thousand of dungeon. The city looked like real city, with multiple blacksmith, inn and shop in each of them.

How about a game that works? Wouldn't that be something?? I want to jump on the, hey I want DLC bandwagon cause there isn't enough stuff broken on this title. Bethesda needs to break some more stuff and take more money from me. I got a bridge on Mars that I could sell some of you, interested?
