Why even get married? : V

Okay why ppl should get married. Why u cant make kids or make love in this game?
We need obtion make love with wife in this game or make kids ( same thing) Its 18 age limit game there must be six little bit or kissing there is not any these kind things. :-(

You don't have to get married, and while the marriage system doesn't really provide much - at least the option is there.

U misunderstandet my point. Thats not marriage if wife only sits at home and look walls. We/game needs some obtions what really wife and husband do like kissing, six and more..

Marriage in Skyrim is a gimmick to sell more copies of the game, nothing more. I see no purpose or advantage in getting married, which is why I'll not be taking advantage of it. IMO the time spent working on the gimmicky marriage system could've been better spent elsewhere...like maybe fleshing out companions ~~more~~ a little bit.

Own kids migh have good thing in this game raise and train them to good warriors.

That depth of character interaction has never been intended in TES and it's a minor activity / quest to pursue not a major objective and besides, your eyesight will suffer be fair.

You also get a +15% skill training bonus when you rest with your lover, so I have read (I cannot be bothered with marrying an NPC). It is called Lover's Comfort and is similar to Rested (+5%) and Well Rested (+10%). There is also things like home cooked meals, which is better than any cooked meal. Again, got this from reading a Wiki.

I guess you have to roleplay it. Yes, pretend your other half is really involved in the relationship and isn`t a computer version of a plastic maniken. I guess Modders will fill in the rest.

Eh, it's left open so that people have a wide range of headcanon/ roleplay choice. Personally I prefer it to be left to the imagination. Awkward pixel six not being my thing. I also don't care to get the "Stretchmarks" and "Passed Afterbirth" achievements.

On UESP it says that if your wife is a follower, you have to move to her house first. I haven't tried it yet but I'll give it a go (that's what she said). My follower wife isn't giving the bonus right now, so I will try moving to her place then moving back.

free houses in some cases, one of the best stam regen potions (err.. homecooked meals, that is), free gold, lvling bonuses..

more in depth character interaction would be cool though. something inbetween Fable and Mass Effect/Dragon Age would be cool with me (Skyrim is more like Fable-lite).
