Bah, San Andreas?
I play Vice City, still the best in the series. Maybe because they got a Katana and Judas Priest on the radio when I think of it, or maybe nostalgia.

bah, vice city?
I play GTA 2 too ;)
that was the best

Well, I generally dissagree with Morrowind having better character development or story(yes it is longer and that is a good thing, but the stories themselves are quite similar. Outside the MQ there are few connecting stories, even in the guilds), but I agree that there could be more rare and unique loot scattered around Skyrim and longer quest-lines.

Do I have a problem with people liking Morrowind mroe than Skyrim? Not at all. The ES games are different enough to create their own fanbases so liking Morrowind more than Skyrim doesn't make one a wierdo.

I hated Vice City and it's mostly due to me hating the 80's (despite never living in the 80's). I just hate the colors, the clothes, the lights.... ugh I dunno I would go absolutely insane if I lived in the 80's.

Morrowind is a great game with a lot of replayability value, that's why. I'm still playing it after 8 years.

Ok. Go play Morrowind. I suggest you try to return your Skyrim game, or maybe even trade it in for... well... I guess you can't really trade it in for Morrowind and since there really isn't anything else like Morrowind, perhaps you are up the river (so to speak).

What you can do then is, go to the Morrowind board and proclaim it's superiority and how you had to go back to it because Skryim suxxor.

I dunno. Just a thought.

lol, I don't blame you, if I had'nt played it when it was fresh, I doubt I would be able to play it now. Case in point - I tried my very best to get into daggerfall, but could not do it. That game is just TOO dated

wait, sorry, who is this person that said this, because it certainly wasn't me. Why do you have such a chip on your shoulder over what I said? It was a reasonable, thought out post inteded to promote discussion on the differences of both games. Absolutely no need for your stinky attitude

I tried a GOTY on PC after Oblivion and couldn't cope... now i tried a normal copy and again failed at it because of the dice-role combat.

Yup. I never sell games unless they totally svcked right off the bat.
If I had even a slight amount of fun and played for a day or two maybe, I'll keep 'em for those boring night when I tire of other great ones.

Morrowind GOTY's a keeper no matter what.

yeah but I don't, thats the thing. What I really want is all the meaty goodness of morrowind, combined with the flashy modern-ness of skyrim : P

What I think you need [and maybe I too] is a few years in a cryostasis chamber while Bethesda and modders get things done.

Not good. I still have my Nintendo 64, Gamecube, the first Gameboy Advance and Gameboy Colour with all their respective games I had. (I really liked Nintendo as a kid)
You niece can play the games of her generation. :stare:

Nostaliga and the ability to Roleplay better is probably the main reasons.
