I have never watched it before, but I hear people hate on it all the time.

Because most of it is completely made up or extremely biased.

Because it's the most biased, awful, pathetic piece of crap "news" station on the planet.

Don't ever trust anything you hear on Fox, they will gladly lie through their teeth for better ratings.

Edit: Basically all news stations are like this. I live in the states, but I actually go through BBC or Al Jazeera as much as I can, because they seem at least more trustworthy than Fox or CNN.

It seems to have a reputation as being biased. Sure, it is to some extent. Find me a mainstream network that is not to some extent. But, people can't seem to distinguish between the facts they state, and the opinions of the broadcasters. MSNBC is just as bad, if not worse.

I consider myself to be a regular Fox News watcher. And watch out, this can get political.

Because they see a game like Hitman and say "GAME DEVELOPER PROMOTES MURDER"

Then they see a game like D&D and say "RPG PROMOTES SATAN, BURN THE HERETICS"

They are the modern day equivelant of witch-hunters, using unrelated facts or blowinfg facts out of proportion to condemm people or companies.

Because its a comedy channel masquerading as a news service.

Except of course the actual comedy channels actually have a basis in reality.

Pretty much. The Colbert/Stewart hour contains more fact than Fox News.

They both are bias, and both have agendas. Fox is too ignorant, its "competition" is too smug. There basically is no impartial, unbiased media. Even NPR gets accused of bias, and they seem to be one of the more level headed news programs.

I could post links, but I think that would be deemed political.

But I'm not a fan of Fox. Most media is biased, but like others have said, they have a warped view of reality.

Firefly was only history repeating. The guys behind Sliders had to put up with the same crap - refusals to air episodes in order, interference in storylines, cancellation.

I'm not saying that others aren't biased; even where there is no profit motive, there is bias. But Fox News goes beyond Bias to outright misinformation and contradiction. News Corp takes pride in ignoring journalistic integrity and standards.

I'll look at fox news or as some refer to it as "Farce News" however like any other news agency it must be taken with a grain of salt. Sadly in Fox's case it is a whole salt shaker due to their..."reporting style" where they can blow a story out of proportion. This has not been limited to world events, but events such as in gaming. I think the one people remember most often is the Mass Effect problem where it talked about same six intercourse and such.

Worst person on Fox news imho is that worthless Bill O'Riley guy. Every time I see him it just reminds me of how much of a travesty humanity is at times and how it should be purged from existence. Seen bits and piece of his show as well as his "Hospitality" towards his guests on the show. If anyone deserved to be blow out of an airlock on a ship into the cold airless reaches of space it is him. Only person I 1/2 trust on fox news is that Shepard Smith guy who seems to have some bit of decency.

Im saying its both part of the same hypocrisy. Whether its Glenn Beck rambling ignorance, or Rachel Maddow smelling her own farts. It all makes the head spin, just in different directions.
