I'm of two minds on this. On one hand I'd love for there to be more stuff all over the place, even if it's just to keep 10 of these threads from popping up every day.

I'll admit it would be cool to have more random places. At the same time, FO3's game world felt artificially filled with "theme park rides" for the player to the point that it was a bit immersion-breaking for me. If they're going to have that much stuff they need to make the game world bigger. I think the feeling of desolation and emptiness is not only VERY appropriate for the area in which NV is set, but it also contributes to the wasteland-y feeling of the area. The Mojave Wasteland is soooo much more immersive to me...it just feels more like a real place.
Anyway, like I said, it would be neat to have more random places to explore, but (IMO) not if it's done the same way it was in FO3. NV's game world feels a lot more real and genuine to me. FO3's world felt a little forced and "plastic." Somewhere in-between would be good. I would not like to see the Mojave Wasteland simply filled with junk for the player to do in the same manner FO3 was. A lot of that stuff didn't make any sense to me and overall the wasteland wasn't convincing to me. If they're going to add a lot more stuff I just hope it's sensible and they put a lot of thought into it beforehand.
