Neither.

Rebuild and combine the Blades and the Companions, Nordic independence, assassinate the other claimants and attack the Aldermeri.

It's a matter of personal taste or roleplay.

It's like asking if you should buy a white or black car.

I say pick one now then restart the game with a different character and pick the other side.

The stormcloaks have better characters and voice acting in my opinion but I would side with the empire. You should go with whatever suits your character though.

IMO none really...I say it you really want to pick then if you're a Nord then go with stormcloaks if you're a non-Nord then Empire.

All non-Nords are not fitting to the Empire. Taking a side is easy only if you're Nord or Imperial. This is their war and others have to have a reason to join in it.
