Wife, Horse missing

Post » Sat Jun 09, 2012 10:43 am

Got the containment quest for College of Winterhold, hopped on my horse with wife in tow. Outside of the college gates and partway down the narrow walkway down a frost dragon attacked. I dismounted and started in on the dragon, made our way down to the edge of town where I had to kill the 10 magic anomalies. The dragon flew back off towards the college and started killing the anomalies, wife was helping, noticed my horse took off after the dragon. After killing the 10, wife was no where to be found and headed up to the college to dust the pesky dragon that was still there. After killing the dragon still no sign of the wife and now the horse is gone. Its been 4 days still no sign of either, was wondering if this is a glitch?

The title of this thread sounds like the beginning of a bad joke. Or a good joke.

I have to say that this is the last quest that I would drag my wife and horse into.

Try it again, only tell them to wait or send them home first.

To lose your wife, Mr. Eethan, may be regarded as a misfortune. To lose your horse as well looks like carelessness.

I think I saw a western movie with this title. I sympathize though, my horse is always running off. I also just got married so I'll have to see if the wife stays.

Sounds like your wife got tired of you dragging her along to fight dragons. She probably stole your horse and ran away with it.

Your wife obviously took the horse and ran off with a certain, dashing Khajiit. *eyebrow*

I will have to admit when I was 1st posting my question, I was laughing and now getting some good chuckles from reading the responses. To date both are still MIA, went back and checked area just in case they got hooked on something but nothing. I had over written the save game so that option is out.
Oddly the other day on one of my treks questing and out in the middle of nowhere, walking...alone...when all of a sudden a dead horse (not mine) dropped out of the sky and landed in front of me.
Crazy.
New question, how do I divorce the MIA wife?

Damn those nordic horses. First they steal our kills, now our wives too? This aggression will not stand, man!

You can't... Skyrim is heavily against divorce. Thankfully you can buy a new horse :) Which let's be honest here, is more important anyway.

Then got arrested for bestiality.

If she ran with a khajiit, why would she [censored] the horse?

And yes, the title does sound like the start of a joke :lmao:

Khajits are 'non-human animals' so bestiality describes it well ha.
