The bugs will leave you frustrated, get it when it is patched.
It really is a great game, but in dire need of work.

I'm not getting it until the Christmas (read as: back from school) time frame, and I am assuming a patch will be out by then????

At what point in time did I say there were "no major problems across the board"? All I have done is (repeatedly) stated that I believed that some people are exaggerating, and there seems to be no issues that make the game not worth getting, especially in the long run.

You didn't say that. I was actually trying to say that "some lucky people" have said that, but looking back on my post it could be taken either way.

And don't try to change your tone post-comment, how was there "no sarcasm in that part my post whatsoever." when you said that you would "be avidly waiting to hear your opinion on it"? If that's not sarcasm, I don't know what is. Unless you really are dying to hear my opinion, in which case i will PM you when I get the game and have played it for at least 10 hours. (for accuracy's sake)

The only part of my post that was intended as sarcasm was the top line. The bottom line was sincere. Mainly because I firmly believe that if you do buy this for the PS3, you'll change your tune pretty sharpish. And I'd be lying if I said I hope that doesn't happen. The more people who are aware of this game's problems the better in my opinion.

Maybe you'll be one of the lucky people with no problems whatsoever. But if you do experience any severe bugs, I'm guessing you'll be slightly pissed off. Especially after having listened to people say that the game is all good. And to make that even worse.. if you come here to complain about it, every now and again you'll have those same people telling you that you're exaggerating. Or as I've seen in one extreme example, making the bugs up entirely.
