Will you go for Extended Mags?

Just curious to see where the community stands on this particular attachment. No "both" or "either" option, just to make it really hard.

Discuss if desired.

Hard to say on this.
I could just take Sprinting Reload and hope they can't aim for crap.

Fair enough!

I guess to remedy this, you could also think of the poll as asking you whether you prefer to go for the weapon with more base ammo per-mag but worse stats, when compared to similar weapons or weapons in it's group.

Could someone fill me in on the stat changes for ext mags? Figured it was just an attachment? What am I missing?

As long as it's not too much penalty, I'm normally very decent with my aim. Ammo is used a lot faster than I thought it would be. Since it takes more to kill less. I probably for sure when I get far into the game. At least try them, likewise I'll end up trying every attachment.

Quicker Reload w/out stat change beats lower stat longer mag any day I say.

Extra spare ammo for those confirmed? Makes sense; would hope that's how it works.

I don't remember exactly, but I think it makes slight decreases to stability/accuracy and reload speed. Maybe swap speed. As I said, I don't really remember, and all the leaked footage that contained the answers seems to have been removed...

Depends on how steep the penalty is. If it isnt too much, I'd take the additional rounds before a reload(I speak purely for the pistol I plan to use, not sure of my primary choice yet)

Vids show that Duct tape takes away from Stability, not accuracy. One of you has to be wrong. :spotted owl:

Depends on the weapon. I'll probably do duct tape mags on some, but extended on others - might go normal on certain weapons, but more likely than not, I'll be taking mag upgrades.

Whoah, 50/50, that's pretty crazy.

I chose Extended Mags because I'm not the most precise person... I just prefer to get as many bullets out as possible in the general direction of the enemy's head, whilst maneuvering around, making myself harder to hit.

Standard mags. I'm a Soldier. I can get as much ammo as I want and I want a pretty quick draw speed.

Having extended mags isn't so much for having extra ammo, it's more for being able to keep fire on a target that little bit longer. I can't count the amount of time I died in MAG, because with all the zipping about and off-hit detection, there would be the odd horror moment when my 30-round AR mag would run dry milliseconds from finishing off an enemy. Never, EVER had that problem with the 45-round mag, unless I was being just plain careless.

Extended. More Rounds downrange at a time seems like it should prevent those "oh crap reload reload reload.... Dead" moments from happening as often, and I'll be able to give my team better support as well.

I'm 50/50 on this one. Depending on the Class, Weapon and Map. By the way in case that any one missed it every attachment decreases swap speed,
the more attachments the slower the speed. Just in case. :teehee:

Duct taped and just reload after a kill. With the amount of movement and team support you shouldn't have those sudden reload moments.
