Will you start a new character for Dawnguard? & What sid

Post » Fri Jun 22, 2012 3:23 am

No, I won't start a new character for dawnguard, because I might not even get it.
And even if I did get it, I would never start a new character just for it.

Does'nt look that great.
The worlds are grey and drab as ever.
The castles are nothing to get excited about.

Quite frankly, it'll probabely as linear and rigged as the main game.
You probabely can't kill anyone and everyones 'essential'.

Yeah, yeah, they put vampires that don't svck apocolyptically.
Big freaking deal, they should have done that in the first place.

When it comes down to it, even if dawnguard is'nt broken, linear, essential tag filled crap, you'll still have the fact the main game is basically the same every single time you play it and has little to no choices. One dlc won't take away from that.

Don't be fooled by it.
It's probabely completed fragged up rubbish.

1,177 posts later he thinks Bethesda makes bad games.

Probably not I have my semi retired level 81 vampire sitting in the Dawnstar sanctuary salivating for wings.... when I play through as a dawnguard ill probably create a new character.

Dawnguard. Because I don't want to be an undead abomination. Plus I've wanted to be a vampire/werewolf slayer for the longest time. Stupid Skyrim not letting me join the Silver Hands.

And yes, I'm starting a new char. But that's mostly because I'm an indecisive bastard.

Ok i like my character i got now . she's pretty awesome :)
Nesharna dark elf lvl 52 , sorceress and allready a vampire .
i love the trailer , i cant wait for the release .
interesting to see what the female vampire lords will be like ... , hopefully they wont grow pecs and a six pack lol
i saw a dragon in the trailer smash through ice and dove into the lake .

there's always people who will whine and not like the DLC because it has nothing to do with what they want exactly down to a fine point because there to picky or they dont like vampire folklore , i say screw them hahaha ;) .

just remember everyone we still dont know that much event though the trailer has shown us allot , it seems that there's allot more to be discovered
and artistically i think Bethesda has done an excellent job .

well done Bethesda you get my vote :)

The Bioware forums are that way--->
Atleast there you have a legitimate reason to be hating

on-topic:
I will definitely join the vampires with my dark brotherhood vampire assassin. I dont know if I ever will join the Dawnguard because I dont like Paladin-type characters or factions

Most likely. I've got about six characters on the go at the moment but none of them are vampires. I guess I should save him/her for this... After I've slaughtered every vampire as a Dawnguard that is.

My altmer vampire is already signed up for the vampires. My main toon is another story though: Lvl 48 Breton warlock with a deadly grasp in conjuration and demon control. (wish we could see the demon race from Akavir soon) :) He enjoys long runs with his daedric armor and is a master bladesman. Collecting souls is his business when he conjures his two swords or his bow and svcks the very essence out of man and mer. He is neither good or bad, just does whatever he needs for the greater good for himself or his comrades. He is the master of dragons, he is Dovahkiin!!

If you in fact can join the dark side without becoming a vamp then he will do both sides eventually. I figure he can lend his warlock skills to the Dawnguard if it
suits him. Time will show :)

@Lord_Sondil I read your story, don't worry :D

Aside from that, does it count if I'm making a new character right now for the vampire side? A lot of people need to make vampires because it's so much harder to be a vampire in Skyrim than it was in Oblivion, so most people don't have one XD

My LP character will probably be on the Dawnguard side, down with vampires!

I have a "paladin" character in semi-retirement that would surely lend aid to the Dawnguard. I will make a new vampire character, though.

Since I am a werewolf on my Breton with no way of changing it, I am starting a new character, he is a Nord Warrior ( Sword and Axe ), I'm progressing through the storyline alright atm.
