Is it just me or does this get said (by someone) about every new ES title?

@Sweet: If you think this now, imagine when this series will be longer than Final Fantasy... Its own fanbase is a mess right now.

I have to disagree too. This is a much better game than the others - and the scenery is mastery too. I love the other skills and maybe most of all I love the lack of weapon and armor durability. It's so relaxing not having to worry about repairing everything between each fight and before selling anything.

And you can't say this is the worst game of all time just because of some bugs because EVERY game has bugs and for Bethesda to put so much into one single game I can understand them having afew bugs (it's not even alot and they are pretty rare too)

The only problem I think about every few minutes is that I don't like that if you complete a quest or you're working on a quest and you have a quest item on you - after you either fail or finish that quest you can never drop or get rid of ANY quest items, ever. And it's really annoying having to see 50 quest items you can't get rid of in your inventory. Maybe they should have their own inventory category called "Quest Items" or maybe all quest items in the game should have 0 weight and be invisible.

Man. Console kiddies ruined Morrowind. Stop expecting us console users to enjoy a game. Now excuse me as I play Skyrim on a console, and offend no one!

Is the OP stoned on Moon Sugar?

Or did I buy a different game?

Skyrim is, in my opinion, the best TES game so far. That may change in the future, but it's my favorite at the moment. If you don't like it, that's your problem, and you should have read a review before buying it.

I have played morrowind, obilivion and skyrim and I am enjoying skyrim much more than oblivion. In future speak for yourself rather than on behalf of the fan base.

Seems like OP hasn't even looked at the options menu yet, for he hasn't discovered yet that you can change the difficulty, put graphics on high and can turn off quest markers, and is basing his entire opinion on failing to do so himself.

God this game is terrible in comparison with some of the others in the series. The game is small in comparison with the others even OBLIVION! Can I get a refund for this console-kiddie made game with no difficulty whatsoever? The graphics look worse than a game that came out in 2005! I mean come on! I don't pay $60 to play a game I could have back then. Bethesda just dropped the ball as they're disappointing their existing fanbase by trying to appeal to console kiddies with this simple generic crap. They have mission markers WHAT THE HELL. What happened to finding it yourself?

I won't be buying any of your stupid Downloadable content as this is just a cash cow.

So much wrong with this post I can't even believe it.

Consoles having NOTHING to do with it. Just shut it already with your god-damn ego you pathetic [censored] idiot (seriously, I'm SICK of seeing all those insults on console players. I play on console and I can handle more than many of those "pc elitists")

The difficulty... play it on master and don't abuse crafting, THEN talk about difficulty

Graphics... man did you play Oblivion? it was considered stunning when it was released, and this game looks years ahead of Oblivion...

And NO, it is NOT a rehash of th same game. this is not COD, this is TES

Generic crap... Have you played Oblivion? THAT was a generic, copy-pasted-for-30-miles land. Skyrim is MUCH more interresting land to explore

Quest markers were there since oblivion, and the ones in the world, as in, not on the compass? you can disable them!

I disagree, Oblivion was by far the worst in the series. I'd say skyrim is actually one of the better. Morrowind will still hold the top spot for me.

as much as i [censored] and moan about skyrim its currently my favorite TES game even beating out morrowind for one simple reason. its new and im having a blast with the combat. i love morrowind but ive played it for so long that i know literally everything about that game and frankly the combat really svcks. oblivion is a distant third in the series. i have daggerfall installed and im waiting to play it once that new engine is completed.......cant wait to see what people loved about that game. :)

the game is bigger than Morrowind, the quest markers can be turned off, its allot better game than Oblivion in every single way, not better than daggerfall and morrowind, still a great game. And thats all I have to say to you.

But what does that bring, turning off questmarkers, for god's sake?
My journal reads: Go to Jeff. There is no hint where Jeff is, so I basically need the markers.
Often there is no line: Go to Jeff in Winterhold. They ruined the whole questbook thing.

But besides that - OP is :violin: and not on the right way to state his criticism.

No OP, Oblivion was [censored], Skyrim is leagues ahead of Oblivion. Sure its short, but at least it wasnt generic fantasy like Oblivion.
