Man. Console kiddies ruined Morrowind. Stop expecting us console users to enjoy a game. Now excuse me as I play Skyrim on a console, and offend no one!

I know exactly how you feel! Although where I'm from everyone plays these games on the computer, so either way I'm the one that's shunned for having a console..

This guy joined back in 08, and now legions of new fans who just joined the forum are rushing to Bethesda's aid because they've never played any RPGs besides Skyrim, and they likely think that Morrowind was terrible because of the combat.

This game is one of the best games I have ever played. Maybe even better than FO3 and FONV. I'm not there yet but its getting closer each hour I play.

I joined in 06 and I LOVED Morrowind I think it is probably the greatest game ever made, but I also love Skyrim I think oblivion was crap. The OP is just angsty we should probably ignore him.

After playing Oblivion for years I tried to go back to Morrowind but I just couldn't. It wasn't anything like I remembered it years ago when I was in High School.

the game is bigger than Morrowind, the quest markers can be turned off, its allot better game than Oblivion in every single way, not better than daggerfall and morrowind, still a great game. And thats all I have to say to you.

you just had to rub it in that you played daggefall didnt you. :sadvaultboy:

@aurora.............get the MSGO mod for morrowind. it takes about twenty minutes to install because it has about a dozen different graphics enhancing mods in one but it makes morrowind look even better than modded oblivion. the animations and combat still svck unfortunately but seeing God rays and volumetric smoke and awesome water really add new life to that game.

God this game is terrible in comparison with some of the others in the series. The game is small in comparison with the others even OBLIVION! Can I get a refund for this console-kiddie made game with no difficulty whatsoever? The graphics look worse than a game that came out in 2005! I mean come on! I don't pay $60 to play a game I could have back then. Bethesda just dropped the ball as they're disappointing their existing fanbase by trying to appeal to console kiddies with this simple generic crap. They have mission markers WHAT THE HELL. What happened to finding it yourself?

I won't be buying any of your stupid Downloadable content as this is just a cash cow.

Hmm, good form, nice finish. I give you a 6/10. I took away 4 points for utter lack of originality, though.

You're supposed to say "After playing Morrowind I tried Oblivion but I felt like I was in Disneyland and I am too awesome to get svcked into the Skyrim hype machine. Morrowind is the best game ever and I am 100% resistance to criticism because I drank 1,000 potions before making this post."

I had that, or well maybe an older version of that but I couldn't get it to work properly because my cd for Bloodmoon is messed up and it won't install. And even more problem though with Morrowind is that I noticed when I played it I hated that you literally had to run everywhere using sprint because walking was so slow... And the fighting animation is like play-doh compared to Oblivion lol.

Seems like OP hasn't even looked at the options menu yet, for he hasn't discovered yet that you can change the difficulty, put graphics on high and can turn off quest markers, and is basing his entire opinion on failing to do so himself.

I think Oblivion was the weakest part of the series so far.
I'm not saying Skyrim is perfect. But it's not a bad game.

I do think Morrowind was the best game in the series, but I realize it isn't perfect and is subject to criticism. However, criticizing Skyrim is apparently a sin or something, because any who even says one negative thing about the game will be instantly labeled a troll by fifty people, and will be personally insulted for no reason.

I'm 105 hours in, and have only touched the main quest (dragon related, no spoilers). There's THREE towns I haven't even been to yet. I've spent as much time mountain climbing (head up, find a line and jump!) as I have decorated my house. My only real beef aside from the broken thieves guild quest (don't sell that armor) and the inability to really place items properly in my house are very minor issues which the mods will fix.

Hey OP, here's a grand idea for you: TURN OFF THE MISSION MARKERS. But no, Bethesda gives you a choice of using them or not? Dang.
