Would you be interested in watching a Skyrim movie?

I'd watch it as long as Beth has nothing to do with its filming/developing. I don't know how much I'd like watching a movie at 0 FPS...

Did it not occur to you that every game to movie adaption so far has already had no involvment from the gaming studio? Just look at the result of that decision by Hollywood, the only way for a game-movie adaption to work would be to have the gaming studio on board, they afterall actually know something about the story. Hollywood is the reason these things do not turn out well, Hollywood is just plain arrogant that they can do a better job on their own and everytime they fail.

If Bethesda weren't involved then Skyrim the movie, or even Elder Scrolls the movie, should not be made because it would really svck.

Did you see what happened to Doom? Hollywood. That is what happened.

Not Skyrim, but The Elder Scrolls, yes.

Sean Bean for sure. Especially since he already did the voice for brother Martin in Oblivion. Sean Bean is the ultimate medieval warrior actor.

Guy Pierce as the hero (loved his role in The Count of Monte Cristo).

Weta Workshop for weapons and armor.
Agree. It would be very hard to make a film 'of skyrim', perhaps a film adaption of 'the Infernal City' and 'lord of souls would work well. Plus Sean bean would have to be in it even if he played a pebble.

Just had this idea while watching the live action trailer of Skyrim. Wouldn't a full-length movie based on Skyrim be interesting? What do you think? And if you're interested in such a movie, who should star/direct?

No.

Hollywood ruins everything. Nothing good has come out of Hollywood since the original "Nosferatu", "Dracula". and "The Crow". Everything else gets ruined by Hollywood's touch.

King Midas = Golden Touch

Hollywood = Entropic Touch

I know game developers rarely get involved, it was a joke, a play on the fact that Beth has a quality control/beta testing team seemingly being run by Helen Keller.

I think with the right director with the right vision, working under Bethesda's guidance, a Skyrim movie would be awesome. Too bad the possibility of THAT happening is pretty remote :(

No way. It would mean I had to watch some other Dragonborn do stuff MY Dragonborns should do. Most likely someone who looks like the Dragonborn from the trailer. That Dragonborn hasn't many similarities to the ones I create.
