Does anybody else experience what I call "mouse moving shadow resolution changing bug", which basically means that the shadow resolution changes in-game by itself from for instance 4096 to 1024 when you move the mouse slightly in what it seems almost random direction. It swifts back and forth, all the time, everywhere.
Pretty annoying and noticable. This I experineced even before 1.5 patch by the way.
Can't say that I do John Shepard...do you have two different resolution values(like the default game would normally create) for prim and secondary?
Also what is this I am hearing about the game setting shadowdistance to 2500.00 I thought it was like 8000.00? Seems like a culprit for shadow fail and from what I read Bethesda decided on 8000 for a reason(I don't think they apply said reason or logic to all decisions which is why I mentioned that they actually used it here).
"fShadowDistance=8000.0000 // Determines the distance at which shadows appear outside, as referred to earlier. 8000 is recommended to avoid shadow pop-in and is Bethesda’s optimized value. Lowering the number increases shadow detail by a significant degree, as you can see in our third example, and as such we urge you to experiment with this setting until you find a balance between quality and view distance that
you are happy with."
and my source that I am sure you have all read over: http://www.geforce.com/Optimize/Guides/five-fast-elder-scrolls-v-skyrim-tweaks-guaranteed-to-make-your-game-look-even-better/
So let me get this straight because to me this seems like a Right Hand not talking to the Left Hand type of mistake....
