I'm more concerned that there isn't a dialogue option to tell Nazeem you visit the cloud district all the time

This is normally what I do. I play a paladin of Stendarr, and every time I talk to a Vigilant, I have to back out before I get an urge to choose the "Who is Stendarr?" option (the white text is annoying!). They need a system that allows your character to be somewhat-versed in the happenings of the world. I think it's sad that your character doesn't know who Ulfric Stormclock is (when talking to Ralf/Hadvar after the intro) even though they state who he is/what he has done multiple times.
It's not your character who needs the exposition, it's YOU.
Also, how is Skyrim supposed to know what a Paladin of Stendarr is...?

It just be nice if they could do it without making you sound like a generic race. Perhaps just include the player in the dialogue based on race?

For example.

Not a Dunmer
Player "Can you tell me about your people?"
Azura Shrine Chick "Sure, the Dunmer people bla bla bla"

As a Dunmer
Player "I'd like to know more about our people"
ASC "Well as you probably know our people aren't doing to well bla bla bla."

Just a small thing like that that actually connects the players race into the dialogue is awesome and makes me feel like playing different races are worth it.

Also still think they should have used the radiant system to do a "Trust Quest" to gain the trust of a different race that may not like you or is weary of you.

MMM, take your point on that, actually.

But - the Orsimer gauntlet quest is a "trust quest", is it not?

Well if you do know about certain stuff, maybe don't ask them?

Other than that, you are new to the land whether you're a nord or not so you barely know anything about your surroundings.

Well strictly speaking that's not actually true, and neither is it implied anywhere - just like in the other games.
It depends very much on what you think about your origins, in fairness...

Yeah, I wasn't referring to that one as being an Orc in a TES game is surprisingly one of the better races to play. Haven't played them in Skyrim, but in Oblivion if you played one you actually got unique dialogue for that one daedric lord, and that was within a quest. Not generic "Speak Elf." or what not which I also like but like to have the quests actually to attempt to pull you in rather then push you away.

Playing a Dunmer in Oblivion was the same way as Skyrim especially that Party quest for the Dark Brotherhood don't get me wrong I like the quest but none of the party goers seemed to know I was also a Dunmer.

Actually they seem to imply even if you play Nord that your a Cyrodilic (SP?) Nord and not actually from Skyrim. Which isn't very cool if you wanted to RP a Skyrim Nord or something.

But as a player who knows the Elder Scrolls Universe, I don't need to be reminded/lectured on who Stendarr is. But because there are many new players in the Elder Scrolls Universe with each new game, there is no easy fix to this situation. And "Paladin of Stendarr" is not an official title. It's more along the lines of my character being a good guy that attributes his good acts/favor to Stendarr.

Well I really only enjoy playing Dunmer, but doesn't mean I wouldn't like to see more diversity when playing each race in the game. If everything feels exactly the same there is little reason to replay unless you ignore most of the stuff.

That is true I guess but for me personally, I only interact with one character ever so I just don't notice! :D
