If you could live anywhere.....

Post » Sat Jul 09, 2011 4:51 am

This thread is purely for curiousities sake.

If you could live one place inside your country apart from your current location, where would it be?: I would probably move out to New Mexico or Arizona.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?: I would probably move to the Scottish highlands, as my Scottish heritage is thick.

Nationally: Don't know specifically. Just somewhere where I can actually see the stars.
Internationally: Norway or Austria.

Well, Sweden is in the top 3. But also maybe San Francisco or LA. I have lived in Italy for 3 years, and I spent a couple months in Germany and I miss both of those places.....Ah so many choices!

San Francisco is nearby, that would be OK, but
I plan on living in central London, in about 2 - 3 years from now.

In my country: Denver, Colorado. If I could hit a 4:40 mile time at that elevation, I'd be blazing fast back at sea level.

Internationally: Canada. I don't do so well with plane rides, especially when they're 8-9 hours over the Atlantic. I can at least drive to Canada.

Either my old town or Perth, Perth looks nice. Never been there though. :(

Out of my country:
Either Reykjavik, Iceland or Cape town, South Africa. Never been to either of them though, again. :(

An underground heavily-armored bunker in Seattle, where the sun will never get me and I can live safely in paranoid seclusion.

Nationally: Somewhere secluded in Sconny Botland

Internationally: A small village in Sweden (in commuting distance of a larger city (under an hour by train)), Krakow (old city), Bavaria (near Munich possibly).

I'd probably be more inclined to Sweden than the others, although I've never been to either Sweden on Bavaria (Been to Krakow and Berlin)

There's a house down the road that I would really like, but it's like half a million or so -houses here are so damn expensive :(

otherwise;

Amsterdam, or

Northern Italy -Bolongna region, or
Venice -For the ladies who want that bumpin' uglies feeling everyday, move to Venice! Trust me, you'll thank me. :)

Southern France, the Provence.

Anywhere along the gulf of Tailand -Sichon or the island of Ko Samui would be great.

this and 100 times over. It's pathetic how -after in everything- = technology-wise, bathrooms, hotels, water system etc, the UK, france, spain and nearly all other countries in europe are compared to Finland. And the crowd of people in the other countires! Damn, I like it quiet!

In my country I would have to say Maine in the Summer, Florida in the Winter.

Anywhere in the world probably Japan, or England.
