Do you ever play a character of the opposite six?

I have no problem playing female characters. 2 out of 5 ling-lived chars have been female. It has nothing to do with six appeal, it mixes things up. Its a shame we dont have more female heroes in games.

I play male and female characters. I oft pick their gender (and race) randomly, and have no problem playing any. I don't know how people can play an anthropomorphic 'feline' or 'reptile' just fine, but not the other gender.

Actually, can't play those either. I even use a mod that removes those races from the game entirely along with Mer. Some people have different preferences and enjoy the game in different ways. As simple as that, really.

I have never been able to RP a Lizard or Khajiit (played them for various fun reasons, but never a full RP) wherein I have RP'd several female characters, my favorite has to be my Dunmer from oblivion, she was simply seeking power no matter the means nor the cost, in the end, she went quite insane, to the point she became a male imperial in skyrim :lmao:

Yes, I play a lot of female characters, they look good and I don't RP too much.

That's... kinda creepy.

On topic, gender doesn't really affect me. I can play male or female characters easily. I tend to have characters of certain races be male (Redguard, Argonian, and Khajiit in particular) while others I tend to make female (Bosmer, Breton, Imperial, and Altmer), but I can play either way.

Aghagh why would you do that delete poor little Saxheel and Khajiit and Mer what why
I guess that's just your opinion, man. But a TES game without most of the races sounds a bit... strange.

Not sure that word means what you think it means. It's a Game of Thrones conversion mod. Elves, cat-people and lizardfolk don't really have any place in that world.

Didn't know it was a TC. In that case, it's not set on Nirn, so what I said above doesn't count.

Sure it does. Someone essentially telling me "I removed 6 out of the 10 races in this world because I don't like them" sounds creepy to me. Especially when you fail to specify the mod used (which you've done now, but the initial creepiness still stands). It makes more sense now that you've clarified the mod you're using. A total conversion mod like that would have to eliminate certain things in the game to make it fit the new world and lore it's being turned into, but the vagaries of the original post do sound creepy.

Anyway, you're more than free to do what you want to do. If you want to remove the more interesting races of Skyrim and replace them with boring old humans, that's your business.

I'll have to look into this Game of Thrones mod. It sounds like it'll make the game completely unrecognizable.

I've tried a couple times, but I always end up deleting my female characters, I guess because I have a harder time getting into the role (obviously). I do think the idea of a female Conan the BArbarian type warrior is pretty awesome, though, and I wish I could get past my inability to keep a female character. Does that seem weird? Do you guys play characters of the opposite six?

Playing a female thief right now.I dont have problems with playing the opposite six,i just have problems like playing something that does not look realistic.Like my current female is really skinny, shes not going to be wielding a two handed sword, cause thats probably heavier then she is.

I always stick to playing a male (my gender). Playing as a female has just never interested me.

Plenty of male writers have written novels with female characters
Not to mention the many female writers who have written novels with male characters. ;)
