I had my group, who has dibs there, dance, music, and eighth grade graduation set up all in connecting areas. FFS.
Ended up taking mine outside for tutoring because it was more quiet. Then it started raining. So we went back in my room, and then the lights went out.
Literally, someone down the road hit a power pole and knocked out power for miles. Luckily I still had our door open, so parents could pick up their kids.
The younger students had to be walked around the back because the security system locked all the doors. And of course, managing the stressed parents, the helicopter parents, and parents trying to make graduation perfect was draining. I ended up taking mine elsewhere in the school. By chance I had brought my paper airplane book, so the kids and I spent the rest of the time making planes. And letting kids be kids.
My student's parents pay for their time spent there, their tutoring, they pay for the facilities, we are not disposable.

A baby an airplane that does not stop crying and the mom just sits there and ignores it.

I've actually never had that happen to me on an airplane :mellow: all the parents with kids I've just put a portable DVD player in front of them and the kid shuts up pretty nicely.

True, in fact the only countries I know who sell it legally are Norway, Sweden and the US, though the American brands are crap compared to the Swedish stuff we get here. Still, it's a minor annoyance, the price doesn't stop me from buying it, I just think i'ts unecessary to force me to drive to Sweden to get it for a reasonable price, especially seeing as I can not possibly hurt anyone but myself with it, unlike smoking. Sure, it's a bad habit, but it's one I've grown to like and while I'm sure I could quit if I tried I don't really want to...

As I said though, it's not a huge problem, me and my friends tend to drive over there anyway to stock up on tons of incredibly cheap candy, tobacco, alcohol and other good stuff And the upside is, only me and one of the friends I usually go with use Snus, the maximum legal limit to bring over is 10 cans per person I believe, so we can bring 20 each to fill up the quota of our non-snusing friends

I'll do you one better. SUVs and large trucks parked in a small parking lot, that could hold twenty plus cars, but the dumb ass SUV and truck drivers have to park so only six of them can park there. :banghead:
