You know what grinds my gears? part II

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 12:03 am

Solid_Moose started this, for lack of a better but censored and "spicy" expression the title will be one above.

My warm water was shut down for a month yay.

I tried to take a cold shower, got soaped first and then i started to shower, after 1-2 minutes my arms got purple and that scared the [censored] out of me so i quit.

I remained with soap on me for a few hours until i found the time to warm some water on the cooker. By the time i got the water hot so i could wash, i noticed my body was covered with red itchy spots from the soap that was on my body for hours. Now i got a body rash yay

Post stuff that annoy you here.

Me to but they don't grind my gears, they just scare the hell out of me.

Celebrities who have tons of plastic surgery and think the look good, what really bugs me about that is that all their other plastic, fake, friends think they look good to, and IMHO they look disgusting.

When it rains when I have to bike to work. Because of the way the tires spin, the back tire always slashes mud and dirty water on your back.

I don't like it when women wear makeup, especially eyeshadow and nail polish. It either detracts from their natural beauty or makes them look fake.

Long winded Auto Attendants on Voice Mail systems.

OK, you call someone and for whatever reason they don't answer. They have a short sweet "This is 'so and so' please leave me a message" for their VM Greeting. Fine, then I have to listen to the complete complicated and long winded automated VM attendendant telling me how to leave a VM message and all the options that I don't care about before I can leave the message. Half the time I forget why I called somone by the time it is done. Do we really need to engineer the entire VM system so that one person in the world who has not left a VM for someone, ever, will not be confused?

Looking for a job... I knew my last job would be ending soon but never thought it would be this hard to find anything for the next 3 months. Landscaping, parks and tree nurseries are all seasonal for this time and I haven't gotten anything back from any of the ones I've applied at. I really don't want to but I guess a job at retail is the only thing I'll be getting... Ugh. It's only 3 months, but when I think that that's 3 months I could have spent outside getting paid way more and not dealing with morons all day...

Nah I just wish they used the technology behind it for good.... Better house paint, washable graffiti,...
