The smaller Towns like RIverwood & Dragon Bridge etc.. have a cosy feel to them & very welcoming. I think Whiterun is the only one that does it on a large scale, in terms of the Holds :goodjob:

Riften is nice on the water, but I would move the bedroom downstairs into the lab and get some comfy chairs upstairs and glass doors on the patio. I'd burn the mannequins and move the lab stuff out side the bedroom.

Windhelm, I love the cold, even in real life, I say I could handle it and would very much enjoy being there.

Winterhold was going to be my first choice but aside from the collage its a very run down place, I don't think I would get much protection there, I'd probably get eaten by wolves in my first week

But if you wanna count dragons in this thread then no town is safe lol

Probably Solitude. In a vicious world like Skyrim, I'd want to live in a big city with strong walls to hide inside ;) Whiterun would be my next choice.

Always favour Whiterun myself, though Solitude could tempt me away I expect.

I like all of the 5 "cities" and its hard to choose if you mean that with "towns".

However,Whiterun,Riften and the College of Winterhold are the places where i let live my characters the most.

Apart from Sleeping tree camp of course where i goin' usually for my "daily pilgrimage"

I would probably choose Riverwood or Dragon Bridge because they're both small towns. If I lived in Riverwood I would probably go hunting alot. If I had to choose a hold I would choose Falkreath because its out of the way and in the wilderness.

Solitude manor, please. Fine home, fine shops, and it's also a great spot for fishing. Might own a ship...:D

Probably Solitude. Despite the latitude, it appears quite warm, and it's very pro-Empire, far away from those Nord-supremacists and the Forsworn. If I had all the abilities of myself as a Khajiit (J'derras), I could also taunt any Thalmor that dare show their faces.

Living?! Not sure, but the most interesting city so far has been Markarth: Grim, mysterious and unforgiving.

Hjaalmarch and the Rift are nice. Trees, sun, water, and warmth are nice things. :-)
