I've always married Ysolde whenever I played a Nord. Well, Ysolda or Camila (from Riverwood).

As a Dunmer, I would like to marry another Dunmer, but there just are not any very well voiced Dunmer to my liking. They also look a lot like vampires to me. So, is anoyone else concerned about this sort of thing or do you just marry whoever you want marry with no real regard of race involved?

Ysolda is the only woman in the game that I even remotely care to marry. From a lore standpoint, I've found no presence other than from one of the in game books stating a Dunmer had married a Khajit and another I think was human.

So what are some of the communities thoughts on this? Also, if not Ysolda for my Dunmer, who else?

I haven't married before but my Nord is going to support Stormcloaks so I am thinking a Nord woman would fit the role-play. I actually read a Smithing skill book that talked about a Dunmer female being with a male Khajiit slave.

Not really. So far I've married a female Dunmer (Brelyna Maryon) as a male Imperial, and a female Nord (Ysolda) as a female Khajiit, as well as planning on marrying a male Breton (Cosnach) as a female Dunmer, or a male Nord.

I always marry Derkeethus or the other male Argonian (Can't remember his name).

I always play as a male Argonian. So yes, I marry base on my race.

Im a wood elf and I like to marry in my race for the most part. I'm not really into humans, or animals.

Aela or nothing... if vex was marriable i woulda married her on my assassin

Seems like Nimriel is my only female Bosmer option though... Nivenor, the only other one I can think of, is taken. Oh and there's the court wizard and steward and Riften, but... eh.

I would marry a Khajiit, but there are no females....Or argonian. The only argonian female cannot be a follower, and I am not very interested in her. Now I generally prefer Dunmer, Argonian, Khajiit, and Orc female. They just seem so...exotic to me. Borghak for orc. Jenassa for dunmer.

I prefer women who are strong enough to fight along side me.

Are looks the only thing that matter?

My orc female warrior married Farkas. I took it on personality- Farkas is pretty easygoing so I figured he would not have much prejudice- and because I thought the shared experience of would overcome the racial difference. And I think they http://i.imgur.com/2Fg43.jpg together.

Can't think of any other mixed race marriages in Skyrim except for Nord-Bosmer and Nords with other human races. But you should just go with what seems right for your character.

Oh I didn't want to give the impression that I do marry by race, my OP sort of makes one think that. I just can't think of who to marry as a Dunmer, although Ysolda would probably match anyone to be honest. I'll probably just marry her, as I like her. She seems like the Naive type anyway. I'm not much into followers, they tend to get in the way. I might play more with followers and try out Janessa this time around.

For my Dunmer I go for Brelyna Maryon

My Imperial married Jordis. Because she was better looking than any Imperial you could marry in the game, and was from an Imperial friendly city.

My Altmer married Muri so that he could lure the Bretons away from the Imperials.

& my Bosmer married Ysolda because she is a Sleeping tree sap & Skooma dealer.

Not necessarily. My first Argonian secretly loves Shahvee but is too shy to do something about it, while my second has already married the beautiful Nord girl from the mine.
