do you think bethesda devs release there own mods, in there

Hmm i'll have to check out this Peter Noone. This could be a sign..a detour to another road of wonderful frolicking audio bliss. Now that i think of it Dev Gary Noonan also used to have his own music posted on his website along with pictures of a very hot heatwave summer Bethesda company picnic.

I think that's actually an interesting mistake. I grew up to the sound of the British Invasion music of the sixties and I have caught myself thinking 'Peter Noone' when I meant to think 'Gary Noonan' myself on more than one occasion.

Lol. I hope I don't start a new rumor in the net about Peter Noone making mods for games. Anyways, I had this music phase in my art school years when I listened to British Invasion music 24/7. I still listen to some of them in my ipod like The Searchers and The Yardbirds.

While apparently some developers do actively participate in modding, I'm sure that a lot of them would be discouraged because of what they can legally do with publicly released tools vs. what they can do at work, with developer privileges. So I'm sure a lot of the hard work and mental effort goes into getting their mod ideas developed and included in future DLC's or patches, because then they'd be done better than if a developer had developed and release his own mod the old fashioned way.

One of the best Morrowind mods, Morrowind Advanced, was created by a Bethesda developer, Worm God. There is a Skyrim mod on Steam Workshop right now that adds real-time carriage travel, made by a Skyrim dev. Off the top of my head, that's all I can think of.

Just tested it, on a trip from Riften to Windhelm. Awesome concept and it could really add to the immersion, but it needs more polish. Cart-riding down hill sides is good fun though. Haha.

Besides, the roads are really too small...

Kinda like do actors watch the movies they're in, type of thing? Nah, I honestly don't think they do. They're probably so busy working that they have other hobbies to unwind; not playing their own video game. But I could be wrong?
Yeah I very much agree with you, although I know its possible but not quite often as we'd want it.

I heard quite a few dev coders like to unwind doing things unrelated to computers and consoles. A few of the Guerilla folks go on racing track days, skiing months etc just to escape their lives.
