Do you think the game will be overrun by people playing ligh : Othor Games

I wanted to know what anyone else thought about the game bein overran by kids thinkin there snipers so thats all they do and some not deciding to be a heavy type character because i would like this game to have a big variety of people playing different roles instead of half the team playin as operative light snipers

If you think only kids snipe then you are sadly mistaken.

I don't see any reason as to why game would be overrun by Lights.

All 3 body types have very diffrent things to offer, and like all games I am sure brink will have a diverse community with people who enjoy all 3 bodytypes and all 4 classes.

Besides since there is no OHK, If you get killed by a sniper that is really on you for not paying attention and getting out of the way

I dont think only kids snipe i just know in games like call of duty and other shooters its just a bunch of snipers...im not saying that im not gonna play as a operative or snipe but im gonna play as all other options also i just hope that thats not all that half the games players are choosing as there role in this game.

there are no spiper rifles in this game. only short rifles wich dont kill in one shot unless ytheir health is allready low.

also i kinda agree with you on the body type thing.
on release i expect to see alot of people playing light because of mobility and heavy for health.
but i think that will die down pretty quickly.

Either way, yes, I do believe this game initaitlly will be over run with Light Operatives. Not so much snipers as they'll learn quick its not a OHK world but Operatives sure. Everyone wants to be a ninja after all. Thats exactly why I'm going to be a heavy engineer. Focus on ranking up my Turrets and Machine gun all I'll become an unstoppable wall.

Im a terrible writer or whatever lol so i honestly dont know when the right time to put a period is...all i know is at the end of a sentence...and i choose when MY sentences end haha

im not worried about kids in brink, you have to think and play smart, kids just wanna run and gun spraying non stop, they will just constantly loose and never play again

Like there'll be that match where everyone who just preordered the game and started playing it all hit the "light-unlock" level (what is it level 7?) and all start testing out the abilities of a light. Then there will be like three games that are all half lights but then everyone will realize "[censored] I need that medium soldier" or "That enemy heavy medic is whoopin my [censored]" and it'll die down exponentially.

I can understand the first censor but is a r s e really censored? >.>

Yeah seems like something like that would happen....i didnt know that you had to unlock the body types?

I plan on mainly playing a light medic because I think it'd be more beneficial to have a medic who can get to people and get out of the line of fire faster than it would be to walk around as a slow beefy medic who probably won't be reviving too many people since he probably won't be able to get to them in the first place.

That's my line of thinking though.

If I'm not mistaken (I may be..I'm wrong a lot) but I'm pretty sure I read in an interview or something that you start as a medium then unlock heavy at lvl 4 or 5 or something and then light a few levels later.

Heavy is unlocked at lvl 5
Light is unlocked at lvl 7

1. There are generally no 1-hit kills.
2. While they're busy trying to snipe (and not leveling up) we'll be completing objectives and earning extra bonuses.

Why is it people only ever notice the excess of certain types? People act like all anyone ever plays as is a sniper, and yet I rarely see a majority of the people in any game playing as such. Many, many more players run around with automatic weapons, shotguns, and even knives.

Anywho, no. I don't think it's going to be a case of being over run by any one type (just like most games are not actually over run by any one type), although people will undoubtedly notice certain behaviors more than others.

MW2 - 50% of people used sniper rifles, and game developers have been running as far as they possibly could from that game ever since
