I just started my Sniper for hardcoe and gave him the suitable name http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carlos_Hathcock a sniper in the USMC. haha im very pround of myself for thinking of that.

Her name is Harlow and she doesn't know if that's her first name or last name because someone shot her in the head.

Someday she'll remember that it's a nickname given to her by an admirer because he thought she looked like pictures of a movie star he once saw while scavenging in some Boneyard ruins.

I had a name in mind for my first character, but then when the name entry screen appeared and it just said "Courier," I liked the vagueness of it so much I kept it.

EDIT: Wait, that post was so boring I wanted to throw something else in to redeem myself. I'm currently playing Elvis (as in, Presley). Sooner or later I'll get back to playing an action-hero-type character I started and abandoned, Ramadan Jackson.

I'm doing my second playthrough and this time my person is an ex-Special Forces guy from out east trying to just make some extra money as a courier.
He's strong and silent, so my Sneak, Melee, and Unarmed are all important skills.
Because of all this, I gave him the name Abishai, named after one of King David's Mighty Men (Israel's Special Forces at the time of King David) who killed over 300 people.

Yeah when I saw courier I thought well thats definently something a person would say after being shot in the head lol

My first playthrough i was John Marston LOL...anyways, after a rough life growing up in the Vipers gang, i was able to escape and started to make an honest living as a courier for the Mojave Express. Little did i know that my first job almost became my last.

On my first playthrough I called him Dunric. Because that way my name really was Dunric.
On my second playthrough, I called my character Doc Mitchell to see what happens. Nothing interesting happened.
IDK, what I'll choose next time.

I like to use my first full name (minus the middle), and make my char look as close to me as possible.

I tend to stray to mythological names, like one of my characters named Minerva, or Orion.

I think bethesda and obsidian like these kinds of names too for all of the ones they include in their games, I think mythological names give a sort of powerful aura to the characters I create, making them one of a kind and I find that fitting since my character does have the ability to single handedly end a war and kill hundreds of soldiers without breaking a sweat...
