I sneak into people's houses, take things off their tables and shelves, and put them into barrels. They think the things are stolen, but no! They are right there! They just don't know!

My Orc is a "do-first, talk-later" kind of guy. He would rather take on three guys at once, two-handed weapon in hand, then have to worry about paying money or talking his way out of it. If he is given an obstacle to get past, he will either destroy it, beat it up, or find another way. He doesn't retrieve things for people, he doesn't pay his way into the favor of others. He is a sellsword, and everything he does is, one way or another, for some sort of reward. Is it fun? Yes. Is it exciting? Oh yeah. Is it fatal? I can count my number of deaths on both hands.

Characters in Diablo II have more personality (at least they speak once in a while). Mine just stares straight ahead with no emotion and no idle animations. Total mannequin.

Breton mage, male: My general 'Dovahkiin' character, cares only about stopping Alduin

Orcish Assassin, female: Made her fugly as hell, uses dual daggers and bows. She carries a torture kit (Got it from a ruin in the companions questline for RP purposes) and she tortures her victims slowly, only giving them a quick death if they admit that she is 'beautiful or pretty, and said with a straight face with no fear in your heart. And just to let you know...I can smell fear."

Nordic warrior, male: "What do we do with a drunken swordsman, what do we do with a drunken swordsman, what do we do with a drunken swordsman early in the mornin!" Hes a merc.

Dunmer thief, female: Steals only from people that insult her or her race, cares not for the Civil war in Skyrim.

Khajiit Hunter, male: uses bows only, hunts for the khajiit caravans that travel Skyrim. Doesn't hate the locals, but wishes they would allow them into the cities.

3 other chars i'm not mentioning, as they were Dead on death chars, and are all members of Skyrims Space program.

My character is more of a "Kill them all and let Sithis sort them out". Long as there is a bag of septims waiting, she's up for what ever the job is.

Thalmor and Imperials are free of charge of course....

My first is a Breton: he's a good person, but sometimes he's easily overcomed by the wish to get something better to him.He like to beat up mages, since he is a tank that like one-handed weapons and heavy armor. So this is why he is a Breton. His equipiments grants him 125% of resistance to magic. He dislike everyone that is not like "A true warrior" or a "Nord".He want to be famous and fearsomed all over skyrim. And also the most powerfull man in Tamriel.
My second: Is a Thief/Assasin.He bassical likes to steal to his collection. But he is a honored Thief and doesn't kill anybody that isn't hostile to him.But he often kills people that deserve to die.He likes to storm forts in the shadows and uses Ilussion to kill his enimies.

My current character Sophia (Nord) is the COC from Oblivion although she still looks like she's 21 instead of 221, I blame that on the Blade mage who hibernated her for 198 years. She's mainly a Warrior wearing Ebony Armor, Is a master smith and uses the Blades Sword in combat in addition to Restoration Magic. She worships Talos but is a Merc and will do any job if the coin is right although there is a line in the sand as there are some things she won't do like turning in Talos worshipers. Wants to stop Alduin and will eventually and her main goals is restoring the Blades, get rich and killing as many Thalmor agents as possible.

Argonian named Nox-From-Tripoja (cookie if you catch the reference) - Criminal, murderer, family man - very mafia like. Nothing gets done unless there is a reward, and by god there better be a reward. People who are more or less annoying end up going crazy and attacking the guards, or mysteriously die. (Frenzy poison on Nazeem ftw)

My character is the average Nord guy who finds himself drawn into things that are far beyond him, like in Hitchcock movies. He doesn't have big muscles, he's not a warrior but he kills if he has to; he never steals unless he has to (the letter in the Battle-Born house about Thorvald Grey-Mane location). He hates all kind of magic; to his eyes mages, wizards, witches, necromancers, all the same; they better be dead. He hates the Thalmor and think that it's time Skyrim gets rid of the Empire.

The last character I played before I put the game on the shelf for a little pause (you know, to make sure I don't get tired. I currently play Dragon Age: Origins instead, to keep up the replayability), I played a crazy ass Thalmor agent.
I ran about and killed everyone who even mentioned Talos.

Like that one Stormcloak escorted by Imperials. I burned him, resulting in the Imperials attacking me.
I called it self-defense.

I have two characters so far:

The first is a Khajiit called Sporreen. He is a laid-back kind of guy, who is always willing to help out. He loves salmon, and is fascinated by waterfalls. He also enjoys riding down said waterfalls. Sometimes he even tries to catch some salmon as he falls over a waterfall  He is very fond of Lydia, who is his main friend right now. Although he gets on well with most people he meets, he spends so much time adventuring and being 'dragonborn' that he has little time to make friends. Sporreen could be considered a little eccentric (I suppose waterfall-riding' isn't really a common hobby), but he means well and can be serious when he needs to be.

My second character is an Imperial called Judas. He came from a poor family, and after his last relative died, he chose to travel to Skyrim in the hope of starting a new life. The only thing that has kept him going through hard times is the journal of his ancestor, Stav (one of my Oblivion characters  ), from which he learned of the Dark Brotherhood. He has always wanted to follow his ancestors footsteps and join the brotherhood, and has recently fulfilled that wish. He has also recently met a woman, Muiri, and is baffled at the emotions he is feeling towards her. Judas is a man of very few words, causing others to see him as 'brooding' or 'mysterious', but in fact he just chooses to only say what needs to be said and leave it at that.

I'm bound to make more characters soon enough (in fact, I already have one in mind...), so when I do I'll post about them as well

Very imaginative. I find myself wanting to find out more about what happens with Judas :D

Bravo and well done!

Thanks very much! Perhaps I will occasionally post updates for my character's stories? I'm not sure if there is already a thread for that sort of thing or not though, as I am still sort of new here (I joined a while back, but forgot I joined until I got Skyrim haha).

My Nord Ranger is a sort of self proclaimed protector of Skyrim, he wanders the land, and helps those who ask for it and those who do not. He fervently hunts the Thalmor, and avoids the war, although he sympathizes with the Imperials because he realizes they are the best hope for Skyrim's freedom, and all of it's people, including those who are not Nords. He doesn't adhere to a code of honor, but rather one of morality. He fights bandits, monsters and others who threaten the travelers and caravaneers, and he tries to be the champion of the common folk of Skyrim. He sympathizes with the Forsworn, and yields or flees when they attack him. He has respect for magic users, and does not shun them like others, but he does not practice magic himself.

I'm currently playing Puck, my Breton mage/thief. He came from the slums of Daggerfell, where his mother was a [censored] and who knows who his father is. His mother turned him out at 13 and he made his living anyway he could. This is where he learned his thieving skills, as well as day labor as a miner and woodcutter. It's also how he ultimately picked up magic. I know that traditionally every child in Daggerfell was tested for magic, but these days they've forgotten about the slum rats. Puck was found by a mage with a predilection for young boys and taught him magic in trade (we'll leave it at that). Puck could have been bitter, but he's rather more like his name-sake, a bringer of mischief. He has an instinctive distrust of authority and is much more likely to take money from the wealthy merchant to buy a drink for the town bum.

My character Ulvric Wolf-Bane is....Morally questionable at best...He has a very "Sellsword" Personality, doing any evil or good deads for Gold and other valuebles, But he has a few postive traits, such as having un-dieing loyalty to the Empire, But as a trade-off he has a burning hatred for the Stormcloak's and he massacres any of them he comes across( Also due to the fact that a group of stormcloak troopers tortured and [censored] His sister and mother)

I had many character which I just deleted so I have only one left.
Nord
Heavy armour knight: Ebony armour
Two handed weapons: Deadric Battleaxe
Ofcourse, legendary.
I roleplay black knight who humiliates opponents by disarming them, and breathing fire on weaklings.
He is mostly good but he likes to imagine what if he would do a kill spree - lucky for me he imagines very clearly...
He likes horse riding, exploring. Has fears from Dwermer ruins but loves anything with mortals in charge - forts and keeps.
Dislikes his beast blood but has deep understanding in Hircines minions like himself. Kills Vigilants of Stendar because they refuse to understand the curse of werewolf.

I have only created one character so far. He is male and his race is that of an Orc. So far he has joined the Companions eventually entering the Circle group and willingly became a werewolf. During this same time he developed a strong attraction to Aela the Huntress a fellow Companion, Circle member and werewolf. He quickly fell in love with her admiring her mental strength, tough personality and expert archery skills. He then traveled to the Temple of Mara purchasing the Amulet of Mara and proposed to Aela. Their wedding ceremony was held in the Temple of Mara and since then he has never removed his Band of Matrimony. He also soon became the leader of the Companions and The Circle. During his travels he encountered a giant. Although he had a noble showing one on one against the Giant almost killing the beast he was forced to flee from the scene to recover. This was before becoming a werewolf however and soon he came back to that same camp in Werewolf form and slaughtered that same giant. He now searches for Giant Camps all across Skyrim killing every Giant he comes into contact with as a Werewolf. He also brutally slaughters any Silver Hand members he sees and completely cleared them out of Skyrim defending the honor and lifestyle of The Circle. Most recently he has proved his worthiness to Ulfric Stormcloak and joined the Stormcloak Rebellion due to having a strong hatred for the Imperial Legion especially the Emperor. He is the only Orc that is in the Stormcloak Rebellion that he knows of so far.

He never uses magic besides his "Beast Form" thinking various swords and axes are much more satisfying to use. Currently he wears Wolf Armor, Dwarven boots, Necklace of Poison Resistance, Steel Horned Helmet, Steel Nordic Gauntlets, and the Band of Matrimony (he is married to Aela the Huntress). He is a master of two handed weapons and fights relentlessly for what he believes is right.

My Dunmer starts out as a petty thief, came to Skyrim to find some good fortune. He's the type to not trust anybody that isn't a Dunmer, especially Nords (that's why he's here to steal from them). The only races that he can lay SOME trust on are his own race, Bosmer and Khajiit (pardon if this goes against the lore, I'm no expert at ES lore). He will not talk to people unless it is absolutely necessary (e.g. selling stolen goods/running small errands for gold). Because he'll be living off from what he's stolen and doesn't want people to remember his face (so he can go steal from same people again). He'll later join up with the Thieves Guild to be with people who have the same ideals with him.

Not sure if there is a thread or not. You could always start one. :)

I actually cut and pasted the flippin "novel" I wrote on this thread and put it in a word doc. I think I may continue to update it for myself. It just seems to help me make sense of "her" in my head which will hopefully lead to better RP and immersion.

We'll see.

Mine's rather selfish and egotistical and doesn't give a monkies about much. He'll take any job but wont necessarily finish it either, it just depends how dirty his hair gets. Doesn't like to get tied down and is always moving around looking for the next job.

Kali was born in the Black Marsh, as with most of her people she was neutral gender for all her childhood, being male or female as conditions allowed, males survive cold better and females are better at conserving body weight, so in times of want she was female.. in extreme winters , male. Her childhood was normal and she had siblings and friends to play and learn with. From early childhood she showed a special aptitude for magic and her family/ tribe decided she should go to Skyrim , go to the best colleges and become a mage. Around her 14th Summer her throat started to change colour, her body also started to change, getting slimmer and a little taller. she lost the dull gray/green colouring of polliwogs ( immature Argonians ) and her skin grew glossy, clear green with darker scales and bright markings. her head sprouted a crown of small horns and she knew she was a beautiful female. The crown also marked her as specially gifted and her family agreed to let her leave the Marsh early and by 15 she was making her way to Skyrim.. swimming the rivers and walking through forests. she fed herself by hunting and fishing.. berries and fruit added to her diet.
One day she was walking along a road when a small cart stopped, the friendly farmer and his son offered her a lift, she accepted, glad of the company and eager to know about the towns and citizens of Skyrim. They went for several miles chatting happily when suddenly bandits jumped out of the bushes and attacked them. They killed the boy and robbed the farmer before slitting his throat. Kali was in shock, she had never known such violence existed. A bandit woman grabbed her by her tail.. laughed and said " we have caught us a lizard" Kali roared in pain and fright, and before she knew it, or even knew she could, bolts of fire shot from her hands killing the woman instantly. The other bandits went to grab her , but a large cart was coming so they melted away into the bushes.
A guard stepped down from the cart, Kali tried to explain what had happened but she was not believed and soon she was bound and on her way to Helgen.
After her escape/ rescue from the block she made her way to whiterun where she soon bought a house and after joining Winterhold, proved her worth and was made Archmage.
She is a gentle soul, caring and considerate, she only kills if she has too, never steals, helps anyone who asks, gives coins to beggars. She likes alchemy and enchanting, hates wearing a hood that covers her crown. Is generally well liked by most people she meets although there are people who make racist remarks she ignores them. All Argonians are good at not expressing their feelings, their faces often look serene even if they are in a fury.

He's really kind of complex. You look at the whole sell sword thing and it's easy to want to lump him in the Chaotic Neutral alignment, a guy who's just out for himself and will do anything on either side of "the line" for a buck.

But then he has fervent loyalties and hatreds regarding the Stormcloak rebellion which shows a whole different side to him.

I like it.

Soldier, loves his Empire, hates the Stormcloaks for ruining a good thing. In all honesty, he doesn't mind the fact that Jarl Ulfric killed the High King; that was a duel of honor on Nordic terms. The soldier fights because the stormcloaks are pushing out the Empire. He thinks the Empire, with its weaknesses, can still be saved. The Thalmor's concordat is a shame he's trying to overcome.
