I like Jacobstown as well, its a nice change from the rest of the Mojave Wasteland. Where i'm from we have snow from October to late May, which is good though considering all the activities i do that rely on snow.

Yesterday I explored the area northwest of Quarry Junction and came across Bonnie Springs. It lays in a valley surrounded by red rock mountains, a lake, some greenery, and these neat Khan statues placed around the surrounding hills; it's the most beautiful part of the map.

The road that leads to the Mojave Outpost and its immediate surroundings is also very nice. I love desert landscapes and large fields so it suited me just fine.

Goodsprings has a great atmosphere that is one part soothing, one part melancholic. I tend to feel "homesick" later in the game, when I have less occasion to visit this town.

I loved Jacobstown and the area around it. I'm kind of sad there wasn't very many quests to do in the area.

Another place I like is that coyote cave to the east of Goodsprings.
Despite it's size it really made my mind up about killing coyote pups.
I mean, seeing all that blood in the water with all those bones and body parts scattered around.
They're monsters, child or not and needs to die.

So that cave had a really great atmosphere despite it's size.
