Pretty much this. I do like some leather armor though but I despise the bulky heavy ones.

I play Argonians both male and female. Why? Because they look awesome, they are a very distinct race with a weird culture and society. Their racials are not bad either. I don't have a favorite weapon or armor, I play all sorts of builds and I enjoy them all for what they provide.

Normally I play Nords but this time around I'm enjoying a Khajiit assassin. Being a cat gives me an excuse to be ADD and follow shiny stuff all the time. Oddly, I've been more focused on accomplishing missions with this character than I was with my Nord

Armor so far is a mix of the DB and Thieves armor, with Krosis of course. Problem is when I put Krosis on I look like any other goon except I have a tail.

Weapon, eh I liked the ghostblade but since I'm an assassin-type I'm using Mehrune's Razor and an ebony bow.

Favourite Race: Breton
Favourite Armour: Ebony Armour (It looks the best, but I don't use armour, Mage.)
Favourite Weapon: Dual Cast Destruction

1. Female Breton. Ancient Nord Armor and Dragon Bone Helm with an Ebony Battleaxe or Ebony Greatsword. Very classy.
2. Male Orc. Ebony Armor or Ebony Mail and Daedric Helm with a Daedric Greatsword or Volendrung. Looks very Dark Knightish to me.
3. Argonian Male in Dark Brotherhood Armor. Shadowscale ftw!

Favorite Race: Dunmer, No matter the elder scrolls game I always seem to stick the longest with a Dark Elf.

Favorite Armor: Thalmor Robes with my own enchantments on boots and gloves. (despite the fact I can't stand the Thalmor it is kind of a FU killing them in clothes they created. lol)

Favorite Weapon: My own two hands equipped with duel Fireball spells.

Argonians and Khajiit because of their exotic looks and race backstory, plus it's refreshing to play something other than human, dwarf, or elf, in an RPG game.

This....So much so, it is my handle.

My favorite looking armor is Orismer, but prefer the ebony and I favor the one-handed sword-n-shield style of play..Even though I use a war-axe instead. I also mainly use destruction with restoration as my exclusive mage spells, as I cannot stand to rely on magi-gen while in battle, I found that these are the most useful.

I like all the races lore-wise, but I prefer to play Imperial. Mainly because they are the average human race in the ES universe.

this is the main reason for me aswell, i remember wishing dragon age origin's had a race like beast-men then wishing dragon age 2 did lol

Bretons, although the reason why no longer applies; I liked Bretons because they were the only humans that got a bonus to Magicka. Still, I've played them this long I might as well stick with it even if they're ruined.

I have 3 favorite races:

-Wood Elf
-Redguard
-Breton

In Skyrim, my favorite race has been Breton because they get the Conjuration bonus and start with an extra summon spell. I am a fan of Necromancy and summoning in fantasy, so I am enjoying playing a Breton to get bonuses to that.

I like Wood Elves because I'm also a fan of Druid style characters. Unfortunately, you can't really play "Druid" in Skyrim, but I still like the Wood Elves.

Also a character type I was thinking about playing (that unfortunately didn't work out too well due to the fact that you can't really play a Druid) is a Necro-Druid type of character - one who is in tune with the forest and nature, but also has a command over supernatural spirits. I believe that a Wood Elf fits that roleplay best.

And Redguard because, well, they are just badass. I probably like them best in Oblivion, because I love the Adrenaline Rush ability better in Oblivion than I do in Skyrim (and I don't really recall what exactly it is in Morrowind), but my Oblivion character was a Redguard and I loved it.

I'd say currently my favorite race is Breton, but it fluctuates between Breton, Wood Elf, and Reguard, with honorable mention to Dark Elves.

On topic: I always liked Bosmer in Oblivion, but they don't look human enough to me in Skyrim (which I suppose they shouldn't) so I prefer Bretons and Imperials now.

I've always played a male Nord as my main character. I've always used Nords as my personal favourite real race is Northern European (Germanic / Baltic / Scythian).

I've always given him long hair with blue / green eyes.

So far he's always been heavy armor with sword.

I've use heavy armor so far as I like the armor to appear Nordic. I hate making a Nord and putting him in say Elven armor as to me that just looks silly. In Skyrim I am presently using dragon armor (minus the helmet as the helmet looks rubbish and my characters head looks cool).
In Oblivion I used Knight of the Nine armor and in Morrowind I used Nordic mail (from Bloodmoon). I usually back up my Nord with certain magics such as Conjuration and restoration (& now enchantment) and called his custom class as "Nord Templar".

I also tend to make a second character who is a light armored stealth / marksman player and is always an elf as I give this character full elven. In Morrowind I made a Dunmer Ninja / Samurai assassin (in Dunmer / DB armor). In Oblivion I made a Bosmer in elven armor with red hood. In Skyrim I am just trying out a Altmer (female this time) who uses stealth with magic (illusion magic combined with sneak etc & destruction spells - low level so just experimenting). I like to make my elven characters as oriental inspired so it makes them opposites and totally unique to my Nord (Dunmer = Japanese / Turkic, Bosmer = Khmer / SE Asian, Atmer = Chinese, Orsmer = Hun) .
